"We got Mom over at the Riverview Estates. She loves their food. It's gorgeous. It's very clean. The maintenance is good. They just had a whole bunch of renovations. It's pristine. The view of the river makes you feel like you're on vacation versus in a senior living home. They have this beautiful atrium with rocking chairs so people can sit and just look at the river. It's a beautiful ambiance. She's very happy there. They have religious services six days a week, which my mother loves, and bingo, which she loves. They bring in a lot of entertainers, like a lot of singers. On Christmas, they brought in a choir. She hung up on me the other day to go play bingo. She's happy that they have the Hallmark Channel in their TV room. They have a giant screen TV with a bunch of chairs and that makes her very happy, even though she has a small TV in her room. They're very attentive to her needs. When she misses a meal, they come up and they try to get her down for meals. If she can't make it down because she's in too much pain, they bring her her meals. Whenever I called the facility during the first couple of weeks when she was getting acclimated, they called me back very quickly. They work to get her needs met. I think the value for the money is great. I wish she would call staff more often, but that has nothing to do with their rating. She has a habit of not wanting to ask for help, but they know to come look for her, which I find important. I'm very happy there."

"My mom moved into Tylers Mill Senior Living. I like it because it's more of a smaller type of facility with a lot of continued interaction with the other residents. The care and services have been great. The staff members were friendly. They have planned activities to keep them involved and engaged."

"I liked everything about Fountain View at Logan Square. The location was fantastic. They have a parking garage. The rooms were a nice size. They had a washer and dryer in the room. The rent was a little expensive, but the facilities were nice and clean. The person who took us around was wonderful. He knew his business. A couple of the other people we met were very good. I liked Fountain View. The food looked very appetizing. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and they seemed to know the people that they passed in the hallway. They were friendly, and they knew about other facilities. They tell you, "You should try this one," or "Did you go there?" The atmosphere was very nice. Some of the residents I saw knew each other."

"My aunt has been a resident of Woodbury Mews for just over a year. Every time we visit, the staff is warm, welcoming and happy. More importantly, my aunt is happy!! She is always smiling. She is always clean and very well put together. The staff is knowledgeable and caring. I would highly recommend Woodbury Mews! "

"We toured Spring Oak Assisted Living of Berlin. It was very open, bright, and well lit. There's natural lighting and welcoming staff at the front. Just knowledgeable. It's a very upkept facility. There were a lot of nice amenities for the residents. They had a movie area for them. Just the community that was there, and the way it was explained to us, it was a very home-feeling there. They did what they could to promote everything that the residents did to support the facility. They were more proud to talk about the residents than about the staff. It was a very nice facility. The staff members were really helpful. Even as we talked about our specific situation with my mother-in-law, they helped us in ways that we weren't even asking for help, and gave us recommendations on how to handle the situation we were in. They're very kind, caring people."

"The Philadelphia Protestant Home was nice inside, and they offered everything, but they were a little more expensive. The staff who showed me around was nice and knowledgeable. I saw one room and it was nice. The whole facility was very nice."

"We were very happy with All American at Washington Township. They were wonderful. The staff was amazing. We got to meet some of the residents, and they were very happy. It's a beautiful place, and I love that they have a rehab in there. We were very satisfied with it, and I'm going to check one more out just to clear that in my head and in my heart to make sure, but basically that's where we're going with. They've got semi-rooms, and one of my mother-in-law's siblings who is 91 said that it could be a good thing for her being in a semi-room. The location is great for us. The staff has been nothing but wonderful. Our first time with it, we did a virtual tour actually with Stephanie, then we contacted them a couple of weeks later and said we wanted to come in now if it was able, and we were able to come in with the COVID being lifted a little bit."

"I went to see the assisted living facility of Granville Place in Burlington. It was a nice place, and I liked it. They were very good, from what I saw. The lady who gave me the tour, the nurses who were there, and how they treated the individuals who live there was good. The place is also clean. It was close to my house, only four minutes from where I live, so I liked it."

"My husband has moved into Oakwood Residence. It's convenient. He is in assisted living. It's excellent care. They're very efficient. They take care of what needs to be taken care of. They're very caring. They have physical therapy and occupational therapy. They have a salon for men and women, they have an activity room for the residents, and they have lounges set up with big-screen TVs. It's clean, well taken care of and they have a good staff that maintains the property."

"My dad used to stay at The Terraces at Parke Place. It was a good place. The care was good. They did a good job there. They had bingo, and they played cards. The food was good too. I ate breakfast and lunch with my dad, and it was pretty good. It seemed like breakfast and lunch were their biggest meals. "

"Juniper Village is a beautiful place. It has a gym and has everything we need. The only thing I did not like about it was that there was no parking. My husband is in a wheelchair, and I had to park in like a strip mall that's in front of their building and push him to the building because there is no parking at all. It's very tight on the parking, and that's the only downside. They had all the amenities we needed. Their meals are like a restaurant. You can pick off a menu. It's like a big dining room. It's like going to a diner, and you order from a menu, and somebody comes to you. It's not a bunch of squares with two choices. We were there later in the afternoon. I think they're open from 11:00 to 2:00 for lunch, and I think they open again from 4:00 to 7:00 for dinner. They said that I could eat there with him, say if I wanted to come for lunch, which would be added to our bill at the end of the month. For him, it included three meals a day and snacks, but if he had guests come in they could still eat and sit at the table, order, and it would just be added to our bill. So, that's convenient. It is three stories high. It was very clean. All the staff that we passed in the hallways were very friendly."

"Symphony Square was beautiful, it was a lovely place. The director was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. She showed us the rooms and the dining area. The dining area was beautiful, they had silverware and glass and not plastics. They take care of the residents and it's actually a more intimate community which is very nice. They were all lovely people. They have karaoke nights, arts and crafts, they paint together, and there were a lot of cognitive therapy that they do that are fun stuff. They also take the residents on outings. We saw them doing karaoke when we showed up, and everyone looked happy participating. It was also a combination of assisted living and memory care, so everyone got to participate in it."
