We toured Bentley Senior Living. That one is in the running; we like that one very much. It looked like they had lots of daily activities. The facility was clean and comfy. We saw the different options of rooms, and they seemed good. A lot of the amenities were similar to the other places, but they seemed good, too. The staff was nice. She was very, very friendly and informative. It was a good experience. I like that we have the option of doing her laundry ourselves, and I like that somebody checks on everybody, like hourly people get checked on or something like that, which I didn't hear from the other places. They have an outside garden area. It was a bigger kind of outside space that was nice. They have a large TV area, and the dining area was also nice and spacious with lots of windows and a nice view. It was a clean, comfortable nice area. I didn't see any issue with their cleanliness; I thought it was very clean. We even got to go into some people's rooms while they're in there doing their thing. Even the rooms were nice and clean, and the bathrooms were clean. Everything was really good.

Both of my parents were residents in Bentley. I can't say enough about the staff and how kind and caring they were. I took care of my parents for many years and this was a nice transition to the "next step" of their lives. I highly recommend.

My mom has been a resident at Bentley of Branchville for a year now and I have to say it has been a wonderful experience. The staff are friendly and caring. The setting is high on a hill in beautiful Sussex County. Inside it is kept very clean and the dining area looks like a beautiful restaurant dining room complete with tall windows and a large fireplace. Many activities to choose from. Beautiful community areas to watch tv or sit and read a book! All of the staff are very accessible, including the Administrator, should you have any questions. The most important thing is that my mom feels safe and content there! Best decision we made together! Please come and see; you won't be disappointed!

Bentley Senior Living was a big institution, but it was a nice facility. It was like a hotel almost. This place was recommended to me. The Alzheimer's care was in the bottom floor. The staff was friendly. For activities, they pretty much have the same activities as what other facilities also offer.

Went to visit a distant relative. Seriously a unique place, one of a kind. The staff is so professional and friendly. They treat all the people like their own family members. They provide personal care and help with all daily activities like dressing , bathing , Cleaning etc. The staff are available 24 hours for any help. Really a place where your loved ones can sit and relax and feel at home.

I chose this place because I am not comfortable with the nursing home setting where it's a shared bathroom and having to be bathed and washed in line. This place has a homey feeling, because my parents will have their own apartment and will have their own bath and shower here. This facility is not very new, but it's well kept. This is an assisted living facility with a dementia unit. There's a lot outdoor grass and trees and places to sit. It seems like you're out in the countryside. It was very nice and impressive. Inside, there are several rooms where residents could be in groups; I think this is very healthy. I've also observed activities for residents during my visit. It was a pleasant day during that time so they were playing bingo in the front lawn. But aside from this, there are also arts and crafts, exercise and dance programs or outings in stores and other places for residents who are able. I can't think of anything this facility needs to improve since my parents are not yet residing here. However, I've heard a lot of good things from family members of residents, and that's a big thing already.
