We chose Charlevoix Healthcare Center for our mom because it was convenient and centrally located for my family and me. I also knew someone who had a parent there and they had readily available rooms. The place was very open, bright and clean, and the people were very friendly. I hadn't eaten there but I sat with my mom while she ate and the food appeared really good. The residents seemed to like the food. I would recommend this facility to other people.

I visited this facility while attempting to locate a home for a family member. I recall the grounds being well-kept and flurishing with color. The facility offered a warm appeal. Within the home, the residents were engaged within various activites. The home was clean. Many residents were utilizing the 24-hr ""snack"" area. I thought this concept was neat - especially for more dependent residents. We utimately didn't select this home due to the lack of a private room at the time.
