Hidden Lake Care Center

We chose to live here in Hidden Lake Care Center because of the location. Like the name itself, it's like a hidden location with a lake. People can't find you unless they know where you live. The independent living has all utilities paid, and there's free washer and dryer usage. I have a very large one bedroom. They keep everything cut neat. Whenever I have any issues, the maintenance team is for it in a timely manner. There's a meeting room where if you have a family or friends that you don't want to meet in your apartment, you can meet them in the center of the complex. It has a kitchen, a TV, and chairs. So, you entertain people without having them in your apartment. The only thing that they have that's not up to date is their parking lot. It needs to be improved.

My grandmother is in Hidden Lake and it is fine. The buildings are beautiful. The custodian services keep it very nice and clean. It is pet friendly, too, and that's what I like about it. I have had very little interactions with the staff, but the times that I did, they were all very courteous. They have activities and the staff is wonderful.

We visited Hidden Lake and it was not as modern as I had expected, but the people seemed to be very nice. It needed some repairs. This was the assisted living part that we looked at. There’s a pull cord you can pull to get help from the main retirement home if you need it, otherwise, you take care of yourself. You can pay $60 a month, and you can have lunch there. They have a small pond in front of the independent living quarters, and they have a walkway around it. The streets were good, and everything was pleasant and nice.
