I visited Lilydale Senior Living and am looking to move to their independent living community. I know someone there, so that helps, too. I chose the place because it's in my neighborhood. It's older, but it's in good condition, so I liked it. I looked at an apartment, and the gal that I know there said the food is good and they like it. They had a little library area, and I think they had someplace for exercise, too. I thought the facility was very clean and the staff was very nice. The girls there were playing Mahjong and cards. I know they also go out to eat together quite often. I think they have programs there, too.

My mom will be moving into Lilydale Senior Living. We chose it because of all the amenities and activities that they had. It looked like the level of care could be progressive, depending on what she needed. They had a movie theater. They had a separate room that we can rent for family gatherings. They also had transportation.

Lilydale Senior Living is really good. My dad chose that community because he loved that area. My impression of the staff is decent. His room is a little small for my dad's taste, but it's definitely adequate. They provide three meals a day, amenities, housekeeping once a week, and signed up for medication that they give four times a day, which is an option.

There was a lot of noise from the freeway where Lilydale had availability. I am hard of hearing, but I was still was conscious of the freeway there because it was very close. Other than that, they had very nice facilities because it was a brand new building. The tour was fine, but I didn’t care for that if you wanted a meal or any of the activities, they were in a different building and you had to cross the parking lot to get to it.

We did like Lilydale, but unfortunately, they put it up on a hill that is just off the main highway. It intersects with another large highway and there wasn’t any view from any part of the building that was interesting or pleasing. The other side of the building looks over a strip mall, but the facility was very nice, and the dining area was lovely.

Lilydale Senior Living is virtually brand new. It's very clean, open, and airy. They've got independent, assisted, and memory care. My parents are going into the assisted-living portion of it right now, and it gives you the feeling you're in a big apartment building or a big beautiful hotel. The unit they're going into is small, but it's very nice, very well-done, bright, and homey. It's got all the ingredients that will make them comfortable. The staff was very good and very cooperative. We've been working a lot with the nurse on-staff there because my mother has Alzheimer's. She's been very compassionate, very responsive, and very caring. We've just met a few people, but we're very impressed with her.

Lilydale was in close proximity to where we wanted my parents to be. I had a very positive impression. The rooms and apartments were very clean, spacious, and very nice. The food is very good, and the dining room is lovely, spacious, and comfortable. The staff was very kind, very welcoming, and answered all my questions. I was impressed with the overall atmosphere.

We are very happy with Lilydale. The staff is very good and the facility offers many kinds of activities. They also have an assisted living and a memory care area.
