My husband and I have been staying here at the Applewood Pointe of Eagan for two-and-a-half years now. It's a co-op community, and it's pretty expensive, but it's been a fabulous experience for us. The staff is excellent. We have our office manager, who takes care of almost everything, and housekeeping. We cook our own food, but we have fifty restaurants within two miles. It's right in a very busy part of the city, and we can walk to places to eat. It's attached to some city parks and walking paths, too, so it's in a beautiful area right off the freeway, and there is all kinds of shopping around. A couple of blocks from our facility, there are a couple of grocery stores, as well as fast-food restaurants and other restaurants you could go to. Generally, we have activities like t'ai chi, some entertainment coming in, exercise clubs, dominoes, and card games like bridge and five hundred.
