Brecon Village is a lovely senior community, and we’re very happy we chose it when my mom needed more help as she aged. The main building houses Independent Living and Assisted Living apartments that are spacious and comfortable, and the common areas are clean and welcoming. As a resident of Independent Living, her one-bedroom apartment has a full kitchen, so she can snack or even stay in for meals occasionally (though she thoroughly enjoys the variety and quality of the meals offered here!). She often comments on the number of activities offered—exercise classes, movies in the auditorium, musical entertainment, art classes, social hours, and of course, bingo! Throughout the community, staff members are kind, caring, and attentive. We have been very pleased with their service and responsiveness. They know us and show genuine care for us and all the people here. Overall, this has been a safe and supportive environment for my mom--a good choice for our family!

I can’t say enough good things about Brecon Village! From the first day we met Samantha for the walk through, to signing the lease and getting mom and her dog moved in and acclimated, her kindness and willingness to answer my questions gave me the peace of mind that we made the right decision. Brecon Village’s Staff are amazing! The front desk, the cleaning staff, fitness staff, restaurant staff and the maintenance staff, are all kind, caring and professional to the residence. Mom feels safe, and comfortable, in her Independent living apartment. She doesn’t have to cook if she chooses not to because the restaurant provided meals that are nutritious and tasty and allows for socialization with others. I highly recommend Brecon Village and so does mom! :D

I had an in-person tour of Brecon Village. I liked most of it. I can't think of anything that I really didn't like about it. There were a group of people that the staff took on a tour. It was an open house. The staff members were all very nice and helpful. The facilities were very good. It was a very nice layout. They had different layouts for the rooms. The main area was really nice. They had a library and a room with a lot of treadmills and other equipment in it.

My mom moved into Brecon Village a week and a half ago. It has been wonderful. There are lots of activities, like cards, bingo, exercise, movies, music presentations, and more. It is a very nice and very clean place. The room is clean. The staff members are very helpful. My mom gets three meals a day. They wash her sheets, towels, and laundry. They also clean her room once a week. They're very good.

The rooms at Brecon Village were a little smaller than the room that my father has. They had an activity room, hydrotherapy, and a pool. The setup is very open. They encourage the residents to talk, and there's music. It seemed very alive and they have a lot going on for people that are able to walk around and do things. The staff was wonderful. They had a game room, a library, and plenty of things to do for them.

Brecon Village in Saline was really nice and had more of a luxury apartment feel. But I didn’t pick this one, even though they are closer to me, because they were set up so that you can very quickly run up a large bill. They had a lot of a la carte choices, and I thought this was not going to be cost-effective for my dad. The rooms were very large, very light and airy, and everything was immaculate. The bathrooms were big, and the kitchenette was quite large and had a lot of cupboard space. They had the apartment-sized fridges. They had a huge exercise room, and assisted living and independent living in one building. It was a very nice, well-equipped facility. The menu looked like it was from an upscale restaurant. They had so many choices; I was astounded. It was really nice.
