The Cortland Riverside Gardens

My friend is very happy with The Cortland Riverside Gardens. I don't know anything about the food, but everything else is neat, clean and appealing. She has kind of like a kitchenette. When you walk in, there's a place to put a coffee pot and a microwave, and there's a sink there and then there was a big bedroom. The staff was nice. I went there one time when it was COVID and they kept their doors locked and you could not get in, but they were very friendly. They really apologized and they were really nice. The rooms were more studios. It used to be an old school, but it's nice.

My father is currently here. They're doing a great job. They seemed to be caring and patient. They have weekly men's club meetings. They go on field trips. They have a bus, and they take them to different places to do different things. For the ladies, they have sewing and things like that.

I was very impressed with them . The lady that gave us the tour was outstanding. She was very enthusiastic and very upbeat with an incredible rapport with the residents. It gave us a good sense that it was a truly caring community. It appealed to my sense of repurposing buildings that would otherwise be torn down because the building used to be a school. The wide hallways were so welcoming and light-filled. It just had such a vibrant feel to it, and it was a big community.
