The rooms & the facility are very nice and very good,, as far as the staff goes the majority of the staff is great & go above & beyond and try to help out I do feel they are understaffed but there are a few staff members that are just there to receive a paycheck and it shows with their attitude and how they treat the patient, with no compassion or just plain laziness,,, ( example : : if you’re standing right in the room with the patient and they tell you you they have to go to the bathroom help them go to the bathroom when you’re right there instead of telling them you’ll be right back and don’t come back for 2 to 3 hours ) again it’s only a couple of the staff members but all it takes is one bad apple,, far as the activities and amenities not too sure as of yet they have not let or tried to get her out of bed yet due to her condition she just started therapy

My aunt was in this facility for 6 years. We have been unable to see her for a year due to Covid. The staff were definitely her surrogate family and it showed. They contacted us to tell us she had severe pneumonia and was being placed on hospice. Our family was able to go and see her before she passed. While there several staff members came to pay their respects on their day off. It was obvious they loved her and she was so well taken care of. The facility was spotless and very nice. I cannot say how impressed I was with how great the staff took care of my aunt. I know sometimes that could have been difficult as she was very particular. From our family I want to say thank you! She clearly loved all of you. She will be missed by us but I know they will miss her just as much. Thank you Haley. Charles and Sherri for your love. I know there were others so thank you also. Don't hesitate to send a family member here.

I visited a friend at ProMedica Monroe Skilled Nursing and Rehab. The place was very good. They had totally redone it, and it was very nice. It was very clean and updated, and I liked it. I think my friend was happy there; I don't remember her really complaining so much. The place felt homey.

The staff at ProMedica Monroe was very helpful. They have a big grassy areas, and most of the people really couldn't do much since they're in wheelchairs and such. It's an older facility, but they just remodeled the place. They have a couple of elevators, good food, and there's snacks all the time. All the nurses and staff know everybody by their first name.
