"My mother is in the memory care unit of Ashland Farm at North Andover. I went there and not only did I fall in love with it but I also liked the fact that Benchmark offered me a bridge loan with a property that we can sell so that we can afford it. We did not know that option was out there and I think that needs to be marketed more because I would've done this a while ago had I known that we had that option. I'm just so happy, I hope my mom thrives here. She moved in yesterday, and I was there with her all day. They're very compassionate, very caring, very attentive, and very sympathetic to her needs. Even to myself, they were very, very friendly and included me in the lunch and the dinner and offered me to stay. They helped me put mom's things away and made her comfortable. The process was just so easy. I felt like when I walked in there, my mom was home. I had shed some tears of happiness because I felt so relieved knowing that she was going to be in really good hands. She has been in different horrible deplorable rehabs and hospitals. This is the first time she's seen her furniture or anything. We moved everything that she owns there into the room that she could recognize. She was just so happy to see everything after five months of what she went through. The food was great. I loved the food. I love the way they offer it to the patients and they get to choose what they want. I love the fact that they give them tons of options for drinks. They get always two glasses of something. My mom drank more than she had drunk in the last five months when she was in rehab. It's a great facility. They have a lot of things so far. From what I saw yesterday, I was very pleased."

"I liked the staff at Wingate Residences at Haverhill. They seemed very professional. The rooms were nice. People were sitting in their chairs doing exercises. They told me they have a van and they take the people out. I liked it. The dining area looked nice. It was neat and clean and everything was in place there."

"We were directed to Windsor Place by a Care Patrol employee. From my first phone call to Sandra and virtual tour, I got a good feeling about this facility. They were very a ccomodating about a month of respite care while we looked for a permanent home for our relative in NYC. The memory care unit staff were excellent, attentive to each individual's needs, planning varied activities each day and ensuring each resident's safety. The nurses were in regular contact with us. Sandra was always available by phone or e-mail. The owners were on the premises and always willing to speak with you. The front desk staff greeted you warmly every time that you entered. From day one, our family's experience was terrific. I would highly recommend Windsor Place to potential residents."

"Benchmark Senior Living at Haverhill Crossings was very nice. The advantage of that place was that it's all on one single floor for memory care. Their staff was very friendly. They all smiled and the residents that we saw were very, very friendly to us. We just peeked into some occupied rooms. It was a double room with a shared area. We saw the dining room and the common areas, like the recreation room or day room, and all were very nice and clean."

"I liked The Residence at Pearl Street, but the price was outrageous. For a one-bedroom apartment, it was $6,000 a month and a studio was $5,500 a month. The staff was fantastic. They had housekeeping and everything that I would want. I can’t say anything bad about them. "

"The Giving Tree Senior Living is an amazing place. My grandpa moved there in October 2024, and it has been a wonderful experience for him and our family. From day one, everyone who works there has been friendly, supportive, and helpful. My grandpa absolutely loves his apartment. It’s spacious enough to give him his independence while still being a part of a community. He raves about the food— says the portions are generous and there is great variety to choose from. He’s always talking about how friendly and accommodating the staff is, which has made a huge difference in his experience. He enjoys spending time in the Pub, where he can play pool and socialize with friends. The community also has a movie room and an area for games. A nice touch is the piano in the lobby, for residents to play. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed. The activities offered at The Giving Tree are fantastic, and they post the daily events in the elevator, so everyone knows what’s happening. The staff is amazing, and my grandpa has no complaints—he’s very happy there. If you’re looking for a place that truly cares for its residents and offers a wonderful community, The Giving Tree is the place. We couldn’t be more grateful for everything they do."

"I like Putnam Farms. My brother's in-laws are there. They have a memory care unit that is nice and secure. I would give them a high rating. My brother's father-in-law is in the memory care and his mother-in-law is in the ALF. I have been up there multiple times to see them. The father-in-law is always clean, always walking around, and always involved in something. The mother-in-law is able to go up and down to see her husband as much as she wanted to. The staff is very kind and very nice to them. They actually know a lot about their clients that are there. Overall, this is a wonderful facility. "

"My sister and I did a tour at Benchmark Senior Living at Billerica Crossings for my cousin. The woman there spent a lot of time telling us what it entailed. We also saw the people eating. We went around 4:00 or 4:30 and met with her first. She went over the policies and everything, and then we walked around and saw some of the people there. There was a game going on, and we saw some of them during dinnertime too. The staff have all been very nice. We toured the memory care because the state doesn't want my cousin in assisted living. They want him in memory care because he wanders out at night. If it was assisted living, I think it would have been a lot easier but he's been wandering for a while, and the last couple of issues were at night so he got confused. That is why they want him in memory care. The facility seemed immaculate, well-maintained, and the staff was friendly enough when we were doing the tour. "

"I went to see Sunrise of Lynnfield. My overall impression was good. The staff were really nice. However, my mother didn't like the facility. I really don't know why, she just didn't like it. I liked it. It was a clean facility. It had a nice terrace area in the back, which was really nice. The staff was friendly. We saw a room. it was a good-sized room. I liked it. They actually have a room, which is on the corner of the building, so you actually have two views and you can actually see two different directions. I like that feature. Unfortunately, that's the only one they had available, and it's' their most expensive unit. The facility is also more expensive."

"My aunt moved into Benchmark Senior Living at Woburn. The staff is amazing. The residents there are all very friendly. It's very clean, and it's just a very welcoming place. She's doing extremely well there, and I'm very happy with it. Her apartment is perfect. There's plenty of space, and it feels like home to her. She's very happy. I eat there several times a week with her, and the food is very good. They have everything, and it's all very well maintained. They have crafts and knitting groups. They have all kinds of things to keep. I wouldn't mind being there myself. The waitresses, the wait staff, and everybody were very friendly. They're great with the residents. They have activities all the time. They're never bored. There's always something to do. We've gone to several places, and for the money, it's much nicer than places charging more."

"We toured Charter Senior Living of Danvers. The people who toured us were very knowledgeable. We appreciate them. The room was a little smaller than we would have liked. The food was very good. We did eat there, and the chef was amazing. Unfortunately, it was under construction while we were there, so they were doing renovations. We had lunch in a private dining room, so it was fine. It was an elegant little room."

"Windham Terrace was very clean and it had a homey feel. They had both assisted living and memory care. They had a nice big cooking room where they could go and cook their own meals or the family could cook along with them. I only saw a small activity room and a library. They have a terrace, but I didn't go outside. The room was very nice and spacious. They have a kitchenette and everything is included. You don't have to pay a telephone bill, the internet, or cable TV, so that was a nice feature. The facility looked very nice and I liked that it's small. The person that runs it has been there for over 20 years, so that was good to know."

Everything is very nice, the grounds are very nice, and the community is in a good location."

"I've been living here at Atria Longmeadow Place. I leased it so I could recover from a major surgery. They are all very friendly. They are willing to do just about anything you ask of them. They do your laundry. They've brought me meals to my room. The place is very clean and I'm quite happy here. They have a TV with cable and a comfortable bed. It was uncomfortable at first. Within ten minutes of me saying the bed is uncomfortable it was changed to another bed. The food is surprisingly good. It is a very pleasant place to be. We played some trivia game. I got to play some cribbage with one of the volunteers here. I usually end up sitting with other residents here. They have plenty of activities. I just got another list and they put out a list every week. It's a little loaded with good things to do. It is expensive, and if I was staying longer it would have been less. You do get what you pay for. I'm very comfortable with the size of the room and the layout. I've got a kitchenette, my private bath and bathroom, and a living type bedroom. I've got a table that I'm sitting at right now. I've got a window view of the backyard. It's very comfy for one person."

"Delaney at the vale is a beautiful new facility offering features that were important to me. I needed to quickly transition my parent into a memory care unit, but where he was a fall risk, it was important to me that 24 hour onsite nursing was standard. In room instant on video with fall detection also gave me some peace of mind. The nurses were all great to work with and care for the residents. The staff work hard to make the residents comfortable, but also engaged and active. As my fathers needs increased the staff was helpful in providing resources to address the situation. I can definitely recommend this memory care center."

"I saw assisted living and memory care at Sunrise at Gardner Park. It's a lovely facility. They had welcoming staff and an excellent director of sales. They're very thorough and very patient with us during the tour, really open to working and being flexible. They had a full activities schedule. They had a library, common rooms, common seating areas, and things like that. They had a van that took the residents to different activities."
