Mom was at Wingate. It was a fine facility, but she was sick. It was great, but she was restricted to a room, and she was miserable. She complained about the food, she wasn’t doing well, and she just wanted out of there. It seemed really nice, and I felt it was clean. The staff was extremely helpful, they helped push her out of there, and I don’t think she was cooperative.

Wingate is a lovely place. It's brand new and the people there are very easy to work with, very friendly and very helpful. They're going to do a very good job. I'm a nurse and I know some of the nurses who work there.

My father is at Wingate Healthcare. We chose this facility because of it's location. We love it. It is a nice and clean facility and I like the people. The food is absolutely fabulous and the dining room is beautiful. Their activities are okay. They have music, bingo, arts and crafts and they have people coming from the outside. My dad is very happy and comfortable there, but I think there is always a need to improve on the consistency of care. The people had to be trained to care for the elderly because they are dealing with people's lives. But I recommend this facility to others.
