I went to visit my dad only to discover he was so drugged he could barely walk and didn't know his own self. I spoke to the nurse and she confirmed that over drugged him to the point he sometimes sat down on the floor because of it. I moved him to another facility and a week later, he was sharp, could walk, and even knew who I was and called me by name. They let my dad's hearing aids get busted and didn't bother to fix the problem or take responsiblity.

Should be shut down! My father was there for rehab after a broken hip. He fell out of bed and laid on the floor yelling for help for quite awhile. Staff never told us, dad did and then we had to ask questions. He told us he had been pressing his call button and nobody would answer so thought he would get out of bed. Needless to say he was in much worse shape after being there. Yanked him right away. I shutter every time I think about it and the fact that we took him there in good faith. What a hole!!!

Put my mom in for 30 days....never again..had several incidences with poor help and aids...especially at night..I pulled her out and glad that I did...

I'm a current resident. We all have a call light to call our can or our aid. I have hit my light and thank God it wasn't a life threatening situations, because i waited 30-45 minute for my aid. I'll review again after my stay is over.

The tour at Golden Living was OK, although it wasn’t as good as the other facility we visited. They have a built in porch in the halls, and they made it look like it was outside but it was inside; it was pretty nice. I didn’t like the dining room, but the room was OK.

My mother was a resident at this home twice for therapy for a total of five months. The therapy department was VERY friendly, helpful, and supportive as they cajoled and got my mother back walking and able to return home.
