I have been at the facility twice lately. It a nice, clean place. The residents are happy as well as the staff. Friendly outgoing and very positive vibes each time I went into the facility. Very family oriented.

My relative is in Madison Health Care Center. I think her care has been pretty good. We have had same issues that were addressed and taken care of. She was in the hospital for a week or 10 days, and when she went back to the nursing home, her orders from the doctor were to follow up with the doctor within three weeks and that didn't happen. I think that their housekeeping leaves a little to be desired. I've gone to her room where there are two or three open packs of adult diapers sitting here or there. I opened them and put them in her drawers, then I went to the nurses' station and asked them, "Do you have some tape and some paper?" They asked "What do you need it for?" I said, "I'd like to put labels on her drawers. I am trying to get her room cleaned up and organized, so it's easier for the CNAs taking care of her to know where everything is, so it's not just cluttering her room." They said, "Oh, we'll make the labels for you," which they did, but then every time I go in there, there are new bags sitting around, and I just don't like the clutter. Sometimes I go in and there are dirty wash rags or dirty towels thrown over in the corner, and if they undress her, sometimes the clothes are just laying across the chair. I feel like they should keep it as neat and tidy as they possibly can. It makes somebody's job easier if they're not working in clutter.
