"It is quiet, clean, and provides meals and everything my loved one needs. He has only been there for a couple of weeks, but it seems like a good fit for him. It looked very nice and gave me a positive impression. They have dining rooms where they sit at their specific tables and give their orders. The food looked good. The staff is very caring and, if they have any concerns, they call. They keep track of everything. I like that he has his own room and bathroom that's very adequate. "

"I really like Brookdale Bellingham, and it does accept Medicaid. There are lots of great amenities. It has memory care and assisted living which is what we're looking for. It was a nice size and a little bit smaller and easier to maneuver. They have a shuttle that takes them to places, a beauty salon, and a movie room. "

"I'm looking at Hamilton Place as the one I am going to choose. It's more like something I would prefer to live in. It was quieter, and to me it looked like a little more organized or well-kept. The second and third floors even have balconies whereas in the other place, only the bottom floor had a patio. It was a little more expensive, but it seemed to be a little bit bigger and I liked the looks of it. "

"My mother-in-law was a resident of Meadow Greens. We ended up just leaving her where she was, and we hired hospice. Then the nursing care kind of stepped up, and we as a family stepped up; that's how we got through it. It was very good. They were not a skilled nursing home. They were just a retirement facility, and they had assisted living. My mother-in-law was on with the assisted living side. They're not set up as a skilled nursing home, but those nurses stepped up and did more than their fair share. They did good when she was just sick. They went above and beyond their means to help us out and did all they could. They were in the room more often and very helpful for us as family with her needs. The food was fine. They did very well with the food. She was not able to eat the last couple of weeks, so that was difficult. We ended up just giving her like yogurt and liquid things, and they were very accommodating with that. The rooms and layout were fine. They have activities, although not as much since COVID has all struck. They do provide activities. It's a very nice facility. They have bingo, puzzles, a library, and different social events. They have a movie night and things like that."

"Visited this facility along with others and was pleasantly surprised at the interactions with the residents that live there and the staff. I have had many family members in a couple different facilities and this was one of the better ones I have been in. I did have lunch and the meal was good and staff was very responsive to some of my dietary needs, as I have some allergies. They did seem a bit busy, but to me was providing good service overall. My uncles apartment is reasonablly a good size, and he seems to enjoy it there and likes the pool table especially. Over all I thing as a family we are happy, the staff are good and seem to know whats going on with him an das a family we feel good about the move "

"The Woodgate Apartment is the place for me. I like how it looks, the safety, and the people. I've met quite few residents and they love the place, too. It's also just 3 miles from my kids. The manager is a lovely woman. I like that she's very understanding, very caring and would go the extra mile for the people that live there. The grounds are beautiful. Every little place has a little yard. I'm very happy with that. "

"We have chosen Creekside Continuing Care Community and the big selling point was two things. I have a 94-year-old brother that's close by to that. The other thing is they have cottages, which is a good transition for us. Creekside has 29 cottages that surround the main big building, and I'm still independent, but my wife needs more care. We both love the idea of being in the cottage yet still being able to walk up a few steps and have all of the advantages of the food, programs, and exercise. Everyone was nice. The food was quite good. They have a big dining room with white tablecloths and then they have two other little restaurants there that you can go to if you don't want to go to the main dining room and you can do that for 10 to 12 hours a day. The facility was nice. It has a small-town atmosphere and there are a lot of restaurants and stores nearby, not that you would need them because everything's furnished. The cottage is large enough that I can take my baby grand piano with me. I was very impressed with the wide hallways and decent-sized rooms and banisters all along when you walk down and clean, with no smells. The staff was friendly."

"We like Salem Village very much. We have our own apartment, we do our own cooking, and we have our own laundry. It's like a little house all of our own. We're on our own for activities. We have a car and a garage and we go out every two days to do shopping. There's a landlord and he's very helpful and they take care of everything outside of our place and inside if it needs fixing, but we have to keep our own house clean. "

"Staff is amazingly friendly. Our friend's apartment is lovely, well appointed, dining facility warm and friendly. The facility continually provides activities for the community to be involved with. Happy to know exercises class in 7 days a week. We look forward to living there in the near future."
