Sapphire at Woodway was dark. It appeared dirty. There was nobody in the independent living; they were all in the assisted living. It looked old. There was very little parking. It was not an atmosphere I would want to live in. I only interacted with two people. I waited almost half an hour, and then the guy came, and he is the one responsible for running the place. He said that their care was very good, but their appearance was not as good. I felt they put more into their staff rather than in making the building look good.

My sister moved mom into this place 3 yrs ago. They are pleasant enough to my mom but... They take one bedroom units and turn them into 2 units by putting a curtain across the entry to the living room. That was my moms "apt". The other lady locked herself in the bedroom that had a door. Very tight fit. No help with laundry down one floor. Cleaning of units was not good. Moms room mate was not nice person in her old age. We could not wait to get her out of there? Depressing place. The grounds were nice.

This was one place that I like a lot, but at that time, they didn't have any opening. It was a very nice facility. They have a quota of Medicaid/Medicare and they're already filled. I got to see some rooms and they're all fine. The staff was very nice people. Some of them were good, though some were not.
