"I live near Maplewood of Marshall so I've visited it. It's assisted living but they have people that are there permanently and can drive, get out and walk around in those sorts of things. I like the cleanliness and orderliness of the place. The staff is very professional and gave me as much time as I needed to ask questions and look around. The place is very clean. They're decorated well and generally well taken care of. It's just north of town, it's near a condo complex and it's quite nice on the outside."

"I will be moving into Centre Meadows Apartments. They're clean and updated, and the people are nice. The staff is very helpful and answered all my questions. The facility is very nice. It didn't have any foul odor. We went into a room and looked around. The size was a little bigger than what mine would be, but it had a balcony, a nice kitchen, and a bedroom. It's very nice and very clean."

"Friendship Village is a huge community, and they have senior cottages. They have concerts, musicians, and visiting professors -- lots of activities. The staff was very nice, but it was not as friendly. The dining area was fabulous, and it’s dated. "

"From day one I have been very impressed with the staff. Very friendly and caring. Moving our Dad in was a very emotional time for my sister and I. And for our Dad too. The staff was so supportive of our needs and genuinely cared. Storey Point is very clean and is a warm environment. When ever I had a concern it was acknowledged and taken care of immediately. When visiting other facilities in our area I didn’t feel the warm welcome we received at Storey Point. I remember telling Dad that Storey point was a place I could live at when its time for me To move out of my house. I highly recommend Storey point "

"My mother will be moving into Calhoun County Medical Care Facility. It seemed updated and pretty. The staff was very nice, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I didn't see anything because of Covid, but they had a hair salon, a library, a podiatrist, a doctor, bingo, and other games. If it wasn't Covid, they'd have the therapy. I don't know what the food is like, but the dining room seemed nice. The room is kind of like the size of a hospital room. Everything seemed clean."

"We did a tour of Heritage Community of Kalamazoo. I liked that the staff was readily available to explain how a continuum of care investment was a good fit for our family. They have a lot of dining options and socially active living for independent living to support long-term care, and for healthier living for as long as possible. I have tried the food and it's very delicious. The place is immaculate."

"Our tour to Hope Woods Senior Community was a very good experience. There were lots of woods around and it's very well-secluded. It's a smaller facility and it just seemed very nice. There were lots of places to walk the dog and it was very clean and quiet. The manager was wonderful. We had some trouble getting our time together and she just worked with us until we got a time that would work for us both. She was so helpful and so nice. They were going to have a happy hour just as we were leaving, but they also have other things to do. They have therapy, a gym, crafts, card games, bingo three nights a week, and other daily things. They offered a lot. The rooms were nicely laid out, bright, cheerful, and exceptionally very nice. Entryways were also nice. I was just very impressed with the room."
