"We went to see Ormond in the Pines. It's very beautiful, and it's very clean. The people were nice, and it's not too big or too overwhelming. It's just quaint and nice. We looked at the independent and also saw the assisted living area. It did not smell or anything. It's very clean. I couldn't try the food because I got there for the tour a little after lunch, but the dining area was nice and orderly. There were some residents just walking out of an activity when I got there. I didn't actually see it going on, but I did see activity rooms and stuff. The patients appeared to be happy and comfortable in their surroundings."

"Sterling Court is really nice. I have seen the studio room. It was good, and everything looked lovely in there, including the kitchen. The activities looked good, and they have a pool. I don't have any complaints about them. "

"I toured Blue Palms Senior Living of Deland. The workers were very nice, polite, and very patient. I like this setup, but they need to do some extra work with the independent living facilities. The staff explained everything that I inquired about. She took her time and showed me everything that I needed. She's very polite. I didn't go inside and see the rooms. I was taken outside in the independent facility part. It needed some cleaning. I don't know if they had gotten around to it or not, but it wasn't up to par where I would consider that as very clean."

"The staff was so friendly and caring. The food was delicious. I left feeling at peace with my decision. The residents I saw were clean, happy, and having a good time at the birthday celebration they were having. "

"I found Woodland Towers and the layout of the facility to be one of the better ones. The rooms were a little bigger. The maintenance was a little better. Just overall, it checked off more positively than most others. It's refreshing to see the facility done right and that they're doing their job. The person who gave me the tour was very pleasant, competent, and well-suited for her job. I wasn't the only center of her attention. People were coming in. like nurses and whatnot, asking her questions, and she's a very capable person in getting the job done efficiently. She's the kind of person I would like to work with."

The facility was very clean, and the outdoors was kept nicely. The staff was very nice and friendly, and you felt welcomed."

They were very caring people. They really wanted me to take the house and have me in that society. "Heritage Waterside Luxury Senior Living was a beautiful location. The general front sitting area was not very large, but the sitting area in the restaurant was fine. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They had a gym, a salon, and a courtyard, but no pool. The cleanliness looked very nice. We liked the larger bedrooms and they had a very nice garden area."

"Crane Lakes is very immaculate and very well-maintained, and we just signed the contract today. The one we are getting is 2-bedrooms, 2-bathrooms, and the view is terrific with small lakes and a clubhouse in sight. They have card and craft rooms, pool tables, tennis courts, shuffle board, and swimming pools. It has a restaurant that we can use. What we saw in the dining room was very well-designed; however we have to pay for the meals. We do our own meals at our own unit. The staff was great; it’s clean and beautiful. "

"My wife moved into Majestic Gardens Living. It's a fairly small place. It's almost a brand-new building, and it's very nice and very clean. Her room is very nice and very big. The staff has been very good. They provide 3 meals a day. They're not gourmet, but they're OK. They have activities all the time, like bingo and board games. I would recommend it to anybody. It's owned by a lady doctor, and she comes in every day. She has a pretty good crew there."
