We placed my mother-in-law in Fort Armstrong. It is nice, close by, and we have church members who are also staying there. The staff is very friendly, and I notice that they care about the residents. The nurse that we deal with is very concerned and caring about my mom. She knows my mother-in-law has dementia, and they know she is feisty. They help us to go about her finances, and they talk to her doctor about her medical records. My mother-in-law is in an apartment, and we are able to place a love seat, a sofa, a recliner, and her TV. She has a room for her twin size bed and a dresser with a mirror. She has a closet and a shower. My husband enjoys the food. They had activities like singing, dancing, and bingo. We recommended them to my husband's friend.
