"We visited Bickford Cottage and I thought the apartments were very nice, but on the small size. I thought they would be great for one person, but we were looking for a place for both of my parents together and we thought it would be too crowded for two people. They had crafts activities, bingo, and that sort of things. We saw some of the ladies, I thought they were playing bingo when we were there. We didn't eat a meal there, but we did see the dining room and the menu. Their dining room was very nice and it looked very comfortable. "

"My husband moved into Courtyard Estates of Monmouth. I think it's fine. Everybody seems friendly. They seem to be very congenial and very polite. They're knowledgeable. Everybody has been very nice, very helpful, and trying to meet his needs. I stayed with him for lunch one day and heard other residents praise the staff and the food. They all liked it. I did notice on their menu that their desserts are diabetic-type desserts, not full of calories. They post every day about what's gonna happen. It's like a calendar where they have what's going on every day of the month, and the activities are listed there. They have a library. I saw the books. And I know they have an area where they have storage, games, and things that they can pull out and get. I know they play bingo and they do exercise time."

"My parents are in Rosebush Gardens Assisted Living and they are very happy there. Even though my dad is resistant, he really likes it there. I think the staff is very caring, very friendly and everything has been just great. Actually, the reason why we choose Rosebush is because the apartments are larger than the other two we visited, and they are kept very clean and are in very good condition. I have one meal there, but my dad never misses the meal. He likes the cooking and he is gaining weight actually. "
