"My mom moved to Allure of Quad Cities. I was surprised and could not be happier. She's doing well. They have daily activities, and she likes the food. She likes the people, and so do I. The staff there is good. The place is very, very clean. When she moved into the room she currently has, most of those for memory care were split, like you have a roommate. The rooms themselves are good size. It's not super cramped. There's a movable curtain if you want to have more privacy. The only thing was when she moved in, each room had its bathroom, and the toilet wasn't working, but they got that fixed. There's a separate community dining room for the memory care unit, which is all locked in. They serve breakfast, dinner, and lunch. My mom usually has them in her room. They bring them to her and take them away when she's done. She's not forced to socialize with people worse off than her. They have an activity calendar. They have three or four activities scheduled every day of the week, including weekends, like physical therapy. They have cooking activities and various other things. They have a small community area where people can sit and watch movies."
