We chose Bloomington Towanda Barnes Villas and Reflections for my mother. The staff is amazing with their responses. They just were very caring, very responsive, and made us feel very comfortable about leaving our mother there. We were there when they were serving food, but no, we haven't been able to to try it yet with COVID restrictions. I don't think they let anyone else eat there, though I understood that later, if we wanted to dine with her, we could, but not right now. They had a nice community-type area. They have pretty outside areas. They've got movie night. It sounds like they had a variety of things she could participate in.

I toured Bloomington Towanda Barnes Villas and Reflections. They had memory care; I saw a studio that would be in the memory care area. We had a good look at everything. The person who accommodated us was really helpful and really nice. My daughter and I saw a two-bedroom. They were moving out, and somebody else was supposed to move in, so we didn't get to see it very well with all the stuff around. We also saw a one-bedroom and a studio. I liked what we saw. It was very pleasant, and it was very clean. The staff was very helpful, very sweet to us, and any of the staff that we met in the hall were very kind too. They had a fitness room that only had one machine in there, and they had a beauty shop. I liked the fact that they had an area where you could go out and get coffee, ice cream, and hot dogs (although the machine had broken down and they were waiting for parts).

We visited Bloomington Towanda Barnes Villas and Reflections. My mom is very particular, and she's very impressed. It's brand-new and has all the features. She knows some people there. Kathy was the person who accommodated us during our tour, and she was very informative and friendly. We saw just about every aspect of the place. We stopped by the dining area and talked to the chef there. We also talked to the people who live there. It's pretty organized for a brand-new place. They have plenty of TVs and plenty of room to play cards, board games, and just a social visit with coffee and stuff. It had a spacious dining room and a special family room for special occasions.

Everything has been excellent at Bloomington Towanda Barnes Villas and Reflections. My mother-in-law's room is very clean. It has exceeded our expectations. They come in, clean weekly, and do what they say they're going to do. She's very happy there. They have bingo, dice, they watch movies, do exercises, and a variety of different things. I've had a couple of meals there and they've been very good. She has spoken very highly of it.
