"El Paso nursing home is a very nice and well appointed place to stay. The rooms are very clean and they have maids clean the place daily. The rooms are fairly spacious and you can have a t.v. or internet if you choose. There are many activities you can do there from ordering out from Mcdonalds to playing video games. In addition you can order out from many other good restaurants for dinner every night at 5:00 p.m. The food there is actually pretty good. They have a healthy menu and you can get doubles on your tray if you get a doctor's order. You also can smoke there if you want to. There are smoke breaks frequently throughout the day where you get to go outside into a nice patio area and smoke. You can also play basketball or join one of the many groups they have available. There is a full nursing staff there and you get to visit with a doctor monthly. They will help you take your medications and make sure your are in good shape. There is also a nice den area where you can watch t.v. The people there are nice and you can find good friends to associate with. Overall this is a very good establishment if you are looking for a nursing home in Illinois. "

"I am very pleased with Manor Court of Clinton. They are very good about trying to keep her upright, so she doesn't get congested, and rotating her and moving her on the bed. They still try to do physical therapy with her. They're very kind to her. "

"This facility is by far the best nursing home that I have visited so far. I am a certified nursing assistant and have been in some nursing homes that are unclean and seem like a prison. Upon entering the nursing home I walked under a grand entrance way that was nicely decorated. There was no odd smell and felt homey and comfortable. The receptionist was very polite and welcoming. The nursing home had 2 different floors and each floor housed the different levels of care, level 2 was assisted living to minimal care and level one was complete assist and Alzheimer's unit. The hallways were a warm and inviting color and the floors were a newly placed, clean darker tile. The resident's rooms were also the same colors, accept the floors were a laminate hard wood floor. The staff was very friendly and the resident's looked happy too. The kitchen was very clean and the staff was appropriately dressed. The menu was put together well and included choices for the residents in case they did not like what they were eating that night. Overall I was completely impressed with this nursing home and would recommend it to anyone. "

"I thought the cottages were excellent. Clean, very well maintained and a pleasure to visit. Members of the staff would still make rounds to the cottages, but not as frequently as they would at the assisted living facility. Those who lived in the cottages could still drive and the roads were well taken care of and each cottage had a garage. I don't have anything bad to say about the cottages.The assisted living facility was also very nice, but the staff was often hurried and it did have an unpleasant odor to it. I'm sure that's fairly standard for assisted living facilities. "

"We were very pleased with the care my father-in-law received while a resident at the Roanoke A-C home. The staff was caring and friendly and always went above and beyond in their help and care. It is a well-run, clean and neat facility. "

"We visited Restmor Nursing Home. It was very nice and very well run. The nursing personnel, the maintenance staff, and the cafeteria people were very nice. They do a good job keeping the place clean and serving good meals. It is a very nice, clean place. You don't have to leave the building if you need physical therapy because they provide it right there for you, which is nice. They also have a very nice courtyard, which you can enter from two or three different wings. They have nice flower gardens and places to sit that are shaded. I've seen people taking their meals out there; it's very nice. They have a very active activity program. All the residents who are physically able are encouraged to participate to socialize with other residents."

"My wife is at Arcadia Care at Morton for rehab. They're all good people. They listen and provide what they can. It's in good shape. She's in a one bedroom and she got everything in there. The food is pretty appetizing, a three-course meal. Sometimes she doesn't like the stuff that she got. I don't know how they determine the meals or anything like that, but for the most part, they are pretty good. The facility is not currently good, but mostly good. She gets therapy and help in the shower."

"Mom has taken her rehab at Morton Villa for about two months. I've been up there and visited a couple of times. The nurses and the therapists have been fine with her. They've always been very cooperative and pleasant with families. "

"I had a friend that was at Washington Senior Living for a while. Most of the staff was very, very helpful and they were very friendly. She got really good care and they're checking on her a lot too. They had bingo, church services, and things like that. Her room needed some work done on it, it was for two patients so it was a semi-private room. It could have used a new paint job at that particular time, but it was okay and it was clean. They had a physical therapy room and a nice dining room. They let the family come in to check in on her all the time."

"Heritage Manor was in the town my mother-in-law was living in. And it's also where most of her friends and her relatives live that would come to visit her. But it wasn't close to us. It was 5 hours away. The place was very nice. It was newly remodeled and the people were extremely friendly. Everybody was doing their job. We had a flurry of people around us when we moved her in. They were just very helpful and very nice. They encouraged her to get up and get walking. She liked the food. I was really impressed with it, especially since it's in a small town. But everything went so fast. Three days later she was back in the hospital where she died. "

"We live in a cottage for the past 3 and a half years. It is the best decision we ever made to move while we were still able to make our own decisions. Snyder helped us with our move and because our house sold so fast it was unbelieveably chaotic! They gave us the name of an organizer and she was with us all the way thru even to having blue prints on the walls of our cottage showing the movers where to put our furniture. She helped us thru what could have been a really confusing time. I can't say enough good things about my home and the town has everything I need even band concerts in a historical square.
