"My tour at The Pointe at Pontiac was good, but the problem with that was that it's probably 400 square feet, and it just wasn't enough room. To move from a big house into this suportive living place, it was too small. It's a really nice place, but it was just too small for what I need now. They provide all of your meals, snacks, and meds, but it was too drastic of a move from my big house to this. The administrator that I spoke with was very nice and knowledgeable. This place was newly built in 2009/2010, so it was immaculate. I had been to other nursing homes, and this one was a lot cleaner and nicer, so that made a difference. They have a wonderful activity director and they always have something going on, which is a plus. They're very accommodating."

"We've been having lunch every week with a group of friends in Westminster Village until COVID hit. It's a very lovely place. The rooms are beautiful, constantly redecorating whenever it's necessary. They are adding to the assisted living area now. It's under construction for additions. It's a beautiful remodel. They just redid the cafeteria, the dining area, and the library. As people move in, they move into a completely redone room. The rooms range from a studio to a large two-bedroom apartment. They're all beautifully decorated and well kept. There are garden areas where people can walk, a path for walking, and it's really lovely."

"Washington Christian Village was very nice. They have apartments with bedrooms and living rooms, which are really nice. It's more of an independent type; you can come and go if you want. The staff were very helpful. We visited late in the afternoon, so we really didn't see any activities at that time. "
