My mom moved into Edgewood - Spring Creek last week. So far, our experience has been wonderful. Her room is nice. They have bingo, shopping, and go for drives in the country. The facility is very clean and very well maintained. As a matter of fact, her room was painted and a new carpet was put in before she moved in.

My dad was at Spring Creek for a year. Their regular workers and nurses were great, but then they got a new head of the home and they put up some new rules. The price went up a bit and we weren't happy with some things anymore, so we left. The cooks were super nice and easy to work with, but the food was kind of the same over and over. Basically, there were sandwiches at lunch and eggs in the morning every day. They had very nice facilities and activities, but not as many as other places do.

Spring Creek was pretty high on the list. The only reason we did not go was because of the distance from my home and the traffic. However, they seemed very organized with their staff and had a lot of activities. The rooms were very large, nice, and well maintained in the assisted living side. On the inside, it looked like it was well maintained.

We were very impressed with Edgewood. We talked to the director of the facility who toured us around. It looked like that would meet our needs. It was very clean and very friendly, and the facility looked good. They had things going on there. To this point, that was one of the facilities that we were going to take my brother to visit again. When we were there, they were just finishing lunch, and they were just starting an afternoon bingo session. We also saw their community area where people gathered to participate.
