They have activities, games, and transportation. They also provide all the meals, housekeeping, and laundry service."

"My dad moved into Avista Nampa and he stayed there until his passing. We were very impressed with everything there. The help that they have, the management, they were excellent. They took great care of our dad. The facility is very clean. We had absolutely no complaints. They had a nice dining area. They had structured meals and had a place for people to gather at the tables. They've got a room where they can go and do crafts. They had people come in and kids were there."

"I toured. They have a library, an exercise room with some guidance from exercise directors, they have equipment there for exercising, a beauty shop, a greenhouse on the premises, which I was very interested in, card games, and puzzle tables on every floor. Anybody can put a puzzle up if they wish to. The room has a kitchen area, whether you get a one-bedroom or a two-bedroom. I haven't decided on that yet, but there was plenty of room for one or even two people. What I was excited about was the outdoor little patio area where you could go outside and have a table and sit and eat if you want to, or just have a cup of coffee, and it's screened as well so that you can leave a door open and get fresh air in, even if you stayed in your own house or apartment."

"We toured. We were impressed with their facility, and the man that gave us the introduction and took us through the facility did really well. The people that were working there all were smiling and enjoying doing what they were doing."

"Our experience with Autumn Wind in Caldwell, Idaho was excellent. From our first visit through the length of stay of our mother we felt welcomed and valued. The attention and care provided was beyond what we expected. Mom loved her room, her friends, her caregivers, the activities and the food. She was always clean, dressed and involved with activities and caregivers. At her passing the caregivers were attentive to her needs and extremely compassionate. We would highly recommend Autumn Wind in Caldwell, Idaho as an option for senior living and memory care needs."

"I am so happy here. It is quiet and peaceful. There is a large patio area and meandering walkway around the complex to get my exercise. The staff provides a food pantry and even delivered eggs and milk for free. It is in a convenient place close to shops and restaurants. The other residents are kind and nice. I. Enjoy my life here!"

"What we loved about Edgewood Spring Creek - Eagle was that the staff was just wonderful. The director was so knowledgeable and very caring. They don't have a turnover in the staffing. The director had been there 13 years and that makes the difference. That's what I was attracted to with this place. It's a smaller place. They only had 32 residents, so it was nice. It was excellent. What stood out was the staff and the longevity of the staff. The activity director had been there forever and she had this wonderful party going when we got there and we surprised them. We didn't let them know we were there. I talked to some of the residents and they had a lot of wonderful things to say. It's very cheery and bright. We were going to switch mom to there, but she refused to move. The studio apartment was clean, bright, painted, and had a nice carpet. It was nice and close to the dining room. According to the residents, the food was good. They brought in emotional support dogs that worked with the residents there. That was kind of a nice thing, too. I was impressed. It's a lot older than what we were used to, but it was a very nice place. I would have liked to have tried it. I liked the fact that it was smaller."

"I'm staying in Paramount Parks. I live here because my youngest son lives here. The staff members are very kind, very nice, and very caring. They take good care of us. I have a 1-bedroom apartment. I'm on the ground floor and it's coupled with another floor that has memory care. The facility is first class. They have events every day, probably three to five music groups a week come in of one type or another. They have every stuff scheduled for every hour throughout the day. There are things that people want to do everything from card games to cooking classes to a Spanish class that they teach inside. We don't feel neglected from that standpoint. It meets all my needs. Their food is the best I've ever had in my life. We got three chefs here. The food is just fantastic. The facility has been extremely well taken care of. This is not a cheap place. It's been very, very well taken care of. It's been here a while. It's beautiful grounds with a patio, gazebo, and green areas. It's typical of what you would expect in Boise. I've got no problem with the apartment. We don't have a stove or anything like that. We have a little refrigerator, a small dinette place area, and a microwave. From that standpoint, I think that's pretty typical of what they are, but it's well maintained. People come in and say, 'My gosh, this is gorgeous.' It's just well done. Activities are excellent. They have a lot. There's computer bowling, and we have musical programs of all kinds that come in, so we're active enough."

"I went to Spring Creek Eagle Island and I was looking for assisted and independent living. The tour was wonderful. The woman that took us for the tour was well informed. She was polite and super helpful. I was very happy. The apartments were more than adequate. It's light years ahead of the facility that my in-laws are in."

"We went on an in-person tour here. It was a really nice facility. We liked it and my mom liked it, but I really don't know why she backed out. She just couldn't give up her home. I thought the staff members were exceptional."

"I was so impressed with Grace Assisted Living at State Street. The building was just beautiful, everywhere you looked. It seemed so lively. When we arrived, the exercise class had just finished and people were milling around exiting that big room. They were meeting in little places. You could tell they were going to wait then for lunch. There was a group of four at this table and they were all close and visiting and laughing. I think there were a lot of independent living people there also. It was nice. We didn't get to see an actual room. They were occupied, but they did show us different floor plans and walked us to see different parts of the building itself. We had a great time. The staff was great. She was very friendly. She knew people by name and greeted people. Everything was exceptionally clean. It was just wonderful."

"The Cottages of Boise only had a double room that was twice the price. It's a small facility. It's a 16-bed facility, and they seem like they know the residents. The layout had the living room and kitchen in the central part of the facility. They had memory care. They had a salon, activities, and outings."
