The Pointe at Meridian

The Pointe at Meridian is not quite as expensive as the other places I went to. It's fairly new. The person who took us around was nice. They have separate little cottages, and we saw that. It was very nice, it was clean and up to date. The grounds were not pretty like the other ones that I went to. I didn't like the location.

This place will draw you in because it’s new, but the staff treat residents will little regard. It is as though they think it’s their personal place rather than the residents home. The residents are paying a high price for low level service. The rooms are nice, that is the only positive.

For me, The Pointe at Meridian was too new. The place has only been there a year and a half maybe. It was a nice place. The landscape was maintained very nicely, but it had no character. There was nothing there that interested me, and I was refused my reloading. I didn't meet any staff, just Christine who was giving the tour. She was young and pleasant. I went in there with a list of questions. They had a point for food method. They give you 500 points and if you use all that up, then you have to pay for the food. I didn't like that at all. If I'm paying them $3500 a month, how come I'm limited on food? They have a workout room, a spa, a hair salon, and a theater. The outdoors was very well maintained with very nice and very young plant materials. They hadn't grown much.
