My mother has been in Brookdale for more than a month now, and it's very good. They have a dining room, and they can order anything they want off a menu that changes daily. It's nice, clean, and smells good when you go in. The staff is really good. They had an open house thing for the new families, and we met all the staff. We got her the 1-bedroom apartment. She loves the Bingo. They have people come in and play, and they have road trips for scenic drives.

Brookdale Lewiston was a very good and very clean facility. I liked it. The facility looked well-kept. There were several residents there that I was able to visit a little bit with, and they seemed very happy there. The staff was very good. They were friendly, very knowledgeable, and very compassionate about my needs. I liked them. They had various dining areas and they were good.

We did a basic walkthrough at Brookdale Lewiston. We looked at the rooms and how the place was. They would allow mom to take her cat with her. The few staff members that I met were just really nice and helpful. They answered all my questions, even when I had to call them back and ask them more. The rooms were nice. They refurbish them before somebody moves in, so they add new flooring and stuff like that. Their studio apartments and their 1-bedroom apartments were about the same size as other places I looked at. The dining area was really nice. The grounds were maintained as well as any other place in the area. The residents were playing cards, doing puzzles, and visiting in the common room. They have a small salon to get your hair done.

Brookdale Lewiston is a beautiful facility. It's very clean and very organized. The staff was very caring and very warm when you walked in. It didn't feel like you were walking into a nursing home. It felt more like you were walking into your home. They were very pleasant and very courteous when they met us at the door. The lady that we talked to answered all of our questions. She was very patient with my husband and listened to him. The rooms were very nice. There was a nurse on duty who spoke to us and was also very pleasant. They gave us a book that explained everything about the facility, with numbers to call if we had any questions or concerns. They've been keeping in touch with me. I got an email this morning about respite care and that kind of stuff. My husband loved it. He thought it was very nice. They got a big dining room. They were open to us, while not being pushy.

I toured Brookdale Lewiston for my parents. The business manager spent a lot of time with me answering all my questions. No questions were out of bounds or too basic. She was very, very helpful. She gave me a tour of the facility. She was even so nice as to get me in an occupied room with somebody who didn't mind me looking at one of the larger rooms. The person who took me around was fantastic. She had a good sense of humor, but she was very knowledgeable about the facility. I was very impressed all the way around. I also saw refrigerators, microwaves, and some burners in the room. They had a courtyard, too, and the grounds were very well maintained, clean and neat.

Brookdale Lewiston was nicely arranged. The dining room from a distance was really beautiful. I only saw one room because everything was kind of restricted and it was very small. It could be a few feet larger, but the lady who gave the tour was great. She was very, very informative and very helpful. It was a very nice place.

Brookdale Lewiston was clean, the staff seemed very nice and appropriate, and the rooms were a nice size. The activity schedules that they had there were great and the dining area was great. They have activities monthly. They have them for spring, summer, fall, winter, they have activities according to that, and the celebration of holidays, and they bring in small groups that sing and have their instruments. They offer a church service that's non-denominational on Sundays and other group activities according to particular religions as well that they bring in are appropriate. They have tours like they will take them on a tour of Lewiston, and there's several of them offered around here up the river a little bit. The person that gave me the tour was upfront about staffing shortages and how they were handling that. She was just very friendly and easy to talk to.

We liked Brookdale Lewiston. Their customer service was 10+. The staff was very friendly and caring. They had compassion for their residents, and if I could I would place my brother there. They're interacting with the residents. You can see the compassion and the care with their actions and conversations. I like the feel of the place. The love, the care, and the overall attitude towards the residents. The residents there that we saw were happy, and they weren't afraid to talk to visitors at all. It was like coming home and being in your own house; it's comfortable. They had a lot of activities for the residents. The rooms were nice, and they gave the residents freedom to do things and show that they care about their residents. They have activities going whether they want to participate or not.

Brookdale Lewiston was good and excellent. The staff was helpful and professional. The apartment we saw looked alright. We got there just when one meal was finishing up, so of course everybody was out and in a hurry to get back to their rooms. There was a lot of crowding and we had to wait for an elevator, and some of the residents were a little bit rude about wanting to get in the elevator. The facility was very nice though.

We moved our folks into Brookdale Lewiston several months ago after living in their home for over 52 years. We have been pleased with every aspect of their experience. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food exceptional. My dad loves the coffee time with the other Veterans and my mom is enjoying her crocheting/knitting group. These are two people who did not socialize for several years while living in their home. The nurses are there whenever my parents need them and the Director and management have made themselves available for any questions we need answered. As a family we are so glad we found Brookdale Lewiston! It has given myself and 4 siblings (we all live out of town) a piece of mind knowing that our parents are in such an amazing community.

We visited Emeritus at Juniper, and my mother didn’t like it very much because it’s is so big. The grounds were nice, well-kept, and clean, and it was in a nice neighborhood. The dining area is really nice, very clean, and well-appointed. I think there was exercise, games, and they have a bus that take people to places.

The facilities are warm and inviting, they are clean and do not give the typical hospital like vibe. The staff were extremely friendly and I heard nothing but positive remarks from the residents. The rooms are spacious and homey, they accommodate for the fact that elderly residents do spend a lot of time in their rooms when they are not out and about at the numerous activites

My grandmother was a resident at Juniper Meadows for 5+ years. The care she experienced there was unsurpassed. The care givers were always compassionate and thorough, house keeping kept her room immaculate, the nursing staff was incredible and the administration did everything possible to make sure she was taken care of. Since her death last year, the staff conitnues to keep in touch with us to see how we are. They truly are more than an assisted living community but a family. I would recommend Juniper Meadows to anyone who is looking to place a loved one in an assisted living facility as it is the best I have ever experienced.

When walking threw the front doors it feels as though you are walking into a Holiday in. Very warm and plesent, clients gathered and visiting. You can hear them in the dining hall, the food smelled great. I was able to look at different floor plans, some of the rooms had a living room and seperated beadrooms with a small area similar to that in a hotel for the kitchen area. They all have emergency alert systems, as well as a touch system that alerts the staff of an emergency. All was quite plesent and full of life. The staff were all really good to the clients and patients, treating them like they were individuals that were alive: people. Not like some of the other ones I visited (they seemed very dark and unpleasent as though it were more of a uniform hospital. I would recomened this to anyone with a family mamber needing some assistance.

The staff at Juniper Meadows is always friendly and helpful. My grandpa loves all the activity options they have available for him. They have bingo or some other activity every night of the week. He also loves that there is a bus to take him shopping and to the bank on a weekly basis if he needs it. I am glad to know that he is safe and somewhere he enjoys. The single rooms are a bit small, but an adequate size considering the activity space available. The double rooms are a good size for two people to share. I haven't eaten there but my grandpa says the food is very good. Juniper Meadows is in a very convenient location just off the main street and they have good visiting hours. The facilities are always in good condition and they do the residents laundry on a regular basis. This kind of quality service doesn't come cheaply though, Juniper Meadows is one of the pricier assisted living facilities in our area.

My grandparents both moved into Juniper Meadows about two years ago, and it warms my heart to see them so happy! The facility feels more like a comfortable hotel than a traditional nursing home or assisted living facility. The hallways are tastefully decorated with floral prints and benches for guests. Each room is completely private; residents have their doors closed for the most part, and they are free to decorate their door and the area outside of their room as if it were a house. Many of the doors have wreaths on them, and several guests have welcome mats. Residents can reserve rooms in the dining room for private dining when friends or family come to visit. As long as the Juniper Meadows staff has about 1 days notice, guests can use the private room, and lunch and dessert are served by staff. The food is pretty good, too! My grandparents say that breakfast is excellent, and lunch/dinner are just good. What really strikes me as special about Juniper Meadows is that the staff is TRULY caring. They know residents' names and are always there to help in any way. They truly take an interest in each resident. I am always amazed by the personal details each staff member seems to know about my grandparents! They always set up social activities and try to get residents involved. There is also an on-site beauty parlor, and the beauticians set up appointments with residents and come to their rooms to walk them to the parlor. Each room at Juniper Meadows has a kitchenette that guests can set up microwaves and small refrigerators in. Cooking is discouraged, but microwave snacks are just fine. Staff comes to greet each resident when it is mealtime. They try to keep residents' spirits up and encourage them to get out of their rooms when they can.It is always tough to admit it is time to put a loved one in an assisted living facility. I feel happy knowing that my grandparents are surrounded by such loving people.
