"Great room in the newer section of the building. The whole building was remodeled during their expansion project and they had several different styles to pick from. Kitchens are ample size and a full refrigerator, but my father never uses as they have outstanding meals. Staff have been outstanding and he enjoys his interaction with them. The whole process of moving in was smooth. Great benefit to money spent. Recommend to anyone looking."

"We chose Wedgewood Terrace for my father. It was close to family, they have super nice people, it's a very nice facility, and it was within our budget. The staff is fantastic. The outdoors was very nice, very pretty, and very safe."

"Both my parents were at Royal Plaza. My Dad was in the care center there and my mom was in the assisted living side. The care given on the assisted living side is excellent. They have well trained professional staff on duty. They provide a wonderful variety of activities and the meals are well prepared and presented nicely. Everyone who lives there becomes like family and the atmosphere is positive. The care side was not exactly a good experience for our family. They do have a wonderful activity director and the meals were good. The physical therapists are wonderful. We felt the nursing needed to be improved. Otherwise, Royal Plaza is a wonderful place to be and I still enjoy going there to visit people. "

"My wife moved into Avalon progressive Care LLc. I think they have good staff. In this area, they had a hard time keeping staff. The staff in her nursing home has been there quite a while, so that's saying something. My wife thinks the food is good. My wife chose this community."

"My mom is in Golden Girls Residential Care. Primarily, we chose it for its location. Plus, they could take care of all levels of care. They got high recommendations from the people who live there, too. It's clean, homey, and has a good vibe. The staff over there are very professional and very compassionate. There are a lot of registered nurses and CNAs present quite often. The food is nutritious and diverse. They have a lot of different recipes they use so I don't think it's going to get boring. It's homemade food, too. It's just a very small home, like a community house. I visited and called quite a few different places and out of all of them, this is the one that stood out."

"I visited Life Care Center in Lewiston, Idaho in 2010. Both my grandmother and one of her close lifelong friends were patients there. While visiting this facility I saw a wide variety of both quality professional conduct and conduct boering upon abuse. My grandmother was admitted for a short-term stay for rehabilitation only, she reported to me that the nurses were condescending towards her and she felt very insulted. I personally witnessed her friend being mistreated by a certified nursing assistant, who wrongly claimed to be a nurse when she was not. Most staff, including the physical therapists were very professional in conduct and treated my grandmother with respect. Some nurses were also extremely professional, while others were unprofessional and rude. I would not like to see any of my family members to ever be patients in this facility again. My recommendation to anyone with family members in this facility is to visit often and keep an eye on how your relative is doing, ask them how they are being treated and listen to what they have to say. Watch for bruises and a change in behavior. "

"The people at this facility genuinely care about the residents. It is a smaller home, I would say averaging six residents. Joyce and her help not only take care of their residents physically, they also treat them as actual humans, not just some number. They provide transport to and from personal and professional obligations. For example my aunt needed to visit with her insurance agent and no family was available to take her, so Joyce transported her all the way to the agent's office and back. They also schedule trips to community events, stores and even the local farmers market. The employees make sure to tell me if there in anything my aunt needs or anything that they have noticed which is out of the ordinary and may need to be addressed. The atmosphere of this is that of a family. Holidays and life events are celebrated with the residents and outside friends and family are always made welcome. The facility is clean and well maintained. The residents have the choice of just a single or a double-occupancy room depending upong what their needs and desires are. It is Joyce's which has allowed my aunt to thrive instead of just mark time in these latter years of her life. "
