We toured Evergreen Estates. They have two different kinds of care. They've got some that is basically senior living, and then if you need extra care, they have more help depending on the level you need. It's a nice, clean place. When we were there, it was pretty quiet. It's really nice. The one we picked out had a small living room and a separate bedroom, which was nice. In part of the living area, they have a sink, refrigerator, and a little counter space where you can have a microwave if you want to do a little bit of cooking. There's no cooking range, but there is room for a microwave. Their menu looked good. The staff who gave the tour was really nice. They showed us the whole place and even a vacant room that would be available for her, which was very nice.

Great room in the newer section of the building. The whole building was remodeled during their expansion project and they had several different styles to pick from. Kitchens are ample size and a full refrigerator, but my father never uses as they have outstanding meals. Staff have been outstanding and he enjoys his interaction with them. The whole process of moving in was smooth. Great benefit to money spent. Recommend to anyone looking.

My parents have moved into Evergreen Estates. We needed ground floor access, and an apartment had just become available. The environment was very inviting and very friendly. They're thriving. They are there as an independent couple. They are not using the assisted living space yet. They engage in various activities, usually at the games. There's Jeopardy, a lot of Wii games, music events, bingo, that type of thing. Their apartment is very clean and very adequately meets their needs. The bathroom is very spacious. One of my parents uses a walker and it's topnotch as far as the condition of the room. We had an excellent meal there and it's restaurant style. There were about eight of us that helped with move-in, and we had a nice big lunch with them and it was quite delicious. The big meals at lunchtime are spectacular, but sometimes the evening meals that are like sandwiches and stuff, they're not quite as consistent, but I understand they have new chefs coming in. They have all kinds of things going on. It's a great value. Because of the location, it shares the parking lot with the hospital.

My mom lived in Evergreen. It was a very nice and clean community that took care of the needs of their patients, had good meals, and always made Mom feel safe and secure. The rooms were of a good size, and she made several good friends there.
