My mom moved into The Bridge at Valley View. It has been excellent, and I would give it very high marks. They have been very attentive to my mother's circumstances while allowing her to be as independent as possible. They allow her to do things that the other residents may not be able to do because my mother is more capable. The staff members are very caring. When you come in, they call you by name as you walk through the door to be with your family member, so I think that they are on top of the individual attention and care of each resident. I have not seen anything that makes me question the nutrition of the food or the quality of preparation. All of those things would be very positive. The preparation of the food is challenging to tune with each resident's tastes and preferences. They have a lovely property with flowers and landscaping on the outside. On the inside, the décor and cleanliness of the hallways and common areas are very high. They have a lot of scheduled activities inside the facility, like stretching classes, bingo, special art, and entertainment. On the outside, they take tours to the town where they get in a van, go to the park, and things like that.

My sister and brother-in-law are at The Bridge at Valley View assisted care. The place is wonderful, very clean, and very nice. I like that it's centrally located for their children so it's easy to access for them. I also like just the friendliness of the place, the care that they get, and the cleanliness of it. It's also quite beautifully appointed. For activities, they have everything. There are all kinds of games going on as well as exercise classes. They have physical therapists that help them with their needs and an in-house doctor. I've had lunch with them several times and the food is delicious. They're very expensive but compared to the other places that I have looked at, they're about right in the range of what everyone is charging. My sister and brother-in-law's apartment is very nice. They depend quite a bit on the staff's help for their activities and their needs are met nicely.

For our particular situation, The Bridge at Valley View was close to the dialysis center, and they offered transportation to the dialysis center for my mother and to all of her doctors' appointments too. The staff is excellent, and the meals I had there were good. The grounds are well-kept and clean, and the residents seem happy being there.

I like everything about The Bridge at Valley View. I like the staff as well as the facility. The staff were very nice and the rooms were very clean. I didn’t observe many of the activities, but I know they have all kinds of stuff going on.
