I moved to Holiday Chateau de Boise. It's gorgeous and I love it. They just hired an activities director. They have music sometimes on Friday and some people come in and sing to us. They have dining and they cook for us. The food is good and of a different variety. The staff was courteous, respectful, and very helpful.

Chateau de Boise offered a lot of activities and if you needed transportation services to and from doctors or grocery stores, they did offer that too. But the apartments that we saw seemed dark. They had a fitness facility, laundry facilities, and a dining room where everyone met up. Brian was the one who gave us the tour of the place and he was a nice person.

Holiday Chateau de Boise is the one that I selected. The tour was great. They gave me all the details, everything I needed, and answered all my questions. I got to view the apartment, and I liked the layout. I liked the price. Everything just came together. The staff did an excellent job, answered all my questions, and worked with me on the financial needs that I have and everything. I'm pretty satisfied with what I saw. They had an exercise room. They have all kinds of activities, karaoke, and just on and on and on. They're very high on the activity level, which is what I like. I'll have quite a bit of opportunities for socialization. That's the primary thing I'm looking for.

We went to tour Holiday Chateau de Boise. My impression was that it felt crowded and confined. It was tucked in a neighborhood and just felt claustrophobic to me, but the services they provided were very good. The staff was so accommodating and made you feel welcome. We've tried the food, it was really very good. In terms of amenities, they've provided all the things that I was looking for. They had the dining room, they provide the house cleaning, there's a laundromat there, and a salon. They had activities in the building and also activities away that they had transportation for, which was really nice. The place has been maintained very well.

I looked at Holiday Chateau de Boise. We went to this one twice. The facility is a bit dated, so it needed some updating, but the staff was wonderful. We ate there, and so we tried their food, and that was fine. The residents seemed to be very happy. They all liked being there and thought it was a great community. However, I felt a little uncomfortable in the part of town that it was in. The location seemed to be a little sketchy. The surrounding neighborhood was quite old, and there seemed to be some graffiti and things like that in the area. They had a full schedule of activities. They had a nice menu. They had a program and events list. They seemed to keep the residents very busy. It was clean, but I noticed that there was a distinct smell about the building. It was probably a 40- or 50-year-old building, so it needs to be updated. And there were water stains on the ceiling tiles where they had a water leak or something that could have been replaced. Other than the building just being a little run down, this is one of the two top choices that we were looking at.

My mother has moved into Holiday Chateau de Boise. They're accommodating and friendly. They've got nice rooms with spacious closets. They do a lot of cool activities like movie nights, music nights, different kinds of games and things like that. They have computers, printers, a library, a little area to work out, and an activity room. I just feel like the management is really on top of it, super friendly, and engaging. They want the residents to have a say like on the activities that they want to do.

I really liked Holiday Chateau de Boise. I think my brother would really like it. It's not institutionalized looking. It's a very inviting place. Everyone there was really kind. A little girl came and greeted me before we got in. It was a nice, inviting, and warm place. The rooms were nice. The staff member during the tour was great. She was very helpful and she was the assistant (not the head person). Everyone was happy. We were really pleased. The only issue we have is trying to find somebody to give my brother the medication. As you walk in, the dining area is there. They have three meals a day. Everyone was eating. There are little tables, and they wait on each table. It's kind of like a restaurant. They had decks and outdoor areas. It was in a nice, quiet neighborhood. I was pleased. There's a volunteer who comes and they play games and cards. They like to tie people in with other people that have similar interests. It just seemed like they really wanted the people to be happy.

I like the Holiday Chateau de Boise. It was brick outside and it was clean, the flowers and the grounds were well kept. It may be a little bit older as a community, but it looks like it's well-kept. The staffs who gave the tour were pleasant and attentive. We looked at several apartments and they were fine, I wouldn't mind living there though they were smaller than what I had imagined. It seemed like the walls were all clean, there were no stains, broken pieces of furniture, or anything that I would say needed to be fixed. We had lunch there, people were talking and the residents were friendly. We had a resident come sit with us and chatted with us about the nursing center there. I liked the food, everything was clean, and I thought it was pleasant. The quantity was the only issue with the food. They had a library, a fitness room, and a little store to buy stuff.

I toured the Holiday Chateau de Boise. It was friendly, quiet, and home-like. The staff was very nice, and she was excited to show it to me. The rooms were spacious. I would have no problem moving there. I ate a meal, the dining area was large with tables that seat six. The food was OK. There's a game area. I saw a couple of people playing dominoes. There wasn't anything organized at the time I was there. There was live music in the dining area after lunch. The surroundings were pleasant.

I went to look at Chateau de Boise. Everything was clean and organized. The staff was very professional and proficient. For their activities, you could choose what you do. We saw people playing cards as a group. We saw other people just reading. It's all self-dedicated. We saw a one-bedroom and a studio. They were both exceeding my expectations for size.

The people in Chateau de Boise People were very active, given that it's all independent living. The place seemed very nice, and people were super friendly. I was just worried about it being so far, but that's kind of what my dad wants to decide on. They all play cards, have a library, and the staff intermingled with the residents and the guests, which was very nice.

I moved into Chateau De Boise, and I like the location. The people tend to be nice. I think the staff is good, and the food is good. They don't have a pool, but they have some patios. Some of the rooms have patios, and some of them don't. The dining area is more like a restaurant type, and they serve food out to you. The place is more institutional than homey.

I went to Chateau de Boise, but their cheapest closet-size apartment was $2,900 now. It was wonderful. Everything was nice, neat, clean, and spacious, except for the apartment they showed me. The people were very nice and professional. They had a very firm command of all the facilities from start to finish. They answered all my questions, and they followed up with me. They have their own little gym, a beauty salon, and barbershop. The staff was wonderful. I was very impressed with the facility.

My mother always enjoyed her time here at the Chateau. She made great friends with staff and residents. During Covid, the Chateau did a great job protecting their residents and seemed on top of any concerns. Thank you.

We went to Chateau de Boise for an in-person tour. Their facility was fine, it's just that we were on a very limited tour due to the pandemic, so we weren't able to actually see everything. We were able to view the dining area, but it was closed off. You could see it, but you couldn't go into the area, so no one was in there. We saw a room, but I just had to stand in the doorway. It was very limited, so you can't really get an idea of the atmosphere and the activities. We were told about them, but you can't really get a sense of it. The staff members were fine, and they are very helpful. It wasn't as bright and cheery as some other places we went to; however, that could have been due to the pandemic and things being closed off.

If we're to rate in the 10-star option, this residence would rate way higher than the highest possible. I absolutely love it and would hate to leave. Friends, activities, and peace and quiet. I feel cared about and watched over gently.

The best place in town! The staff are all concerned and caring about us. They want only the best for us! Our chefs cook wonderful meals and have a nice variety. This virus has put a big demand on all of the staff, but they are real troopers and have pulled through. I moved into Chateau de Boise in October 2018 not only because of the many happy and friendly residents, but because of the professional, experienced and wonderful staff that went out of their way to make sure my visit was enjoyable. My questions were all answered and that this was without a question where I wanted live! I have never been happier. Our staff is great.

Professional staff, treat residents as real people! During Covid restrictions, they have learned our individual beverage preferences and how we like to be notified of breakfast. Personal touches like this extend to all areas - meals, activities, housecleaning, and relations to our families.

I have been here at Chateau since last Thanksgiving and I really can't say enough about it. The rooms are large and each one is different. The residents are friendly and interested in each other. The management staff really care about each individual and the general staff treat us as family. It's a happy place to be. I love them all. During Covid, they have gone out of their way for us.

More than pleased! Staff is friendly and fun. Always checking to see how I am. Housekeeping is on the ball. Easy to talk to and pleasant. Can't praise our servers enough! Young and fun - proud of their accomplishments and looking ahead for more schooling and adventures. Kitchen staff are friendly and anxious to accommodate. I'm content living here!!

The staff care for the residents like their extended family. They will make allowances for individuals who need a little extra help. I’ve only seen and experienced their patience, good humor and flexibility! Love them! They offer a wide variety of activities, have a library, and cupboards full of games and puzzles! If the resident wants meal in their room, they provide with no grumbling. They are so on top of things that so far there haven’t been any confirmed COVID cases. My mom feels safe and cared for there!

Chateau de Boise is fantastic and so far everything has been great. Right now, they're in isolation so the residents are not allowed out around campus. They have the residents' food brought to them and the staff is wonderful. It's an independent care community only. My parents are in a 2-bedroom cottage so it's outside and away from the main building. It's got a front patio, a back patio and a great handicapped bathroom, and it's lovely. So far, everybody that we have encountered is wonderful.

Chateau de Boise was very nice. The guide who gave us the tour was very informative and very nice. There seemed to be a very positive atmosphere. They had a lot to offer. They provide several activities. They have apartments in their main building, and then they have cottages, which are outside and are more independent. The staff members that I met were all very nice, informative, and helpful.

We chose Chateau de Boise for Dad and it's been very good. It's very comfortable, the staff is great, and he is quite happy there. The food is good, they have a work-out area, writing clubs, they watch movies, and they have art groups. He has a very adequate room with enough space. It had a new carpet when he moved in. It's comfortable, they come in and clean once a week, and it's pretty tidy. It's an older facility, so it's not as fancy as some, and the food is not extravagant, but it's one of the more affordable communities. It's a very good place.

Chateau de Boise is a very nice place and not too large. They have a lot of nice people there. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. My father-in-law has a nice one-bedroom, which is very sufficient and it has an outdoor patio. He's happy there. They go out of their way to be able to do things for their residents. They have a maintenance man that lets him work on the park benches and stuff outside to keep him busy because that's what he wants to do. They have trips to different places and different activities going on in the center itself. They had St. Patrick's Day shows before he moved in. The rooms are very nice, and they have walking areas. They have a gym that he uses, a library, card rooms, bingo, and a community TV room. They have buses that take them places, adequate food, and more than adequate events. It's worth the money.

The tour at Chateau de Boise was very nice and the staff was very helpful. It's one of the few places that actually knew that I was coming, and they were prepared for me. It was a nice place. They offered me lunch while I was there and took me around to some of the apartments and cottages. The dining area was very nice and had restaurant-style dining. They had a menu and several selections that were pretty good. The apartment I saw in the assisted living was more than adequate for one person, but it would be pretty cramped for two people. For independent, it would be OK for two people. The menu seemed pretty good, they had several choices to choose from and there seemed to be more than nutritious meals. The staff was really helpful and whatnot. They gave me a copy of their calendar for the month with everything that's going on to give me an idea of what they do with their residents. They have shopping trips to different stores within Boise, and trips to the botanical gardens where they do a Christmas lights show. They also have a schedule for taking people around to the hospital for their appointments and stuff like that.

Chateau de Boise was fine, and the cost was what I would expect. I can't say that I like it more than the other places I've visited. They have activities to keep the residents busy, and there's also a good, quiet spot for those who want some quiet time. The staff member who assisted me was very thorough and nice.

Chateau de Boise's rooms were great and everything was nice, clean, well-decorated, and had fresh paint. People seemed happy, and the food was delicious. It was just a welcoming community. They had a game area on the second floor, and they have three wings that meet at the center. The quiet room is on the third floor accessible by an elevator. I really liked it, and my mother-in-law would love to live there.

The marketing director of Chateau de Boise was very helpful. I really appreciated his willingness to give me time and work with me. He talked to me about the financial aspects and gave me a tour. I got a really good impression after my first tour. The community was a little bit older than some of the others I've looked at, but it was kept very nicely. The rooms were nice and clean. I liked the overall cleanliness of the place, and it was a very nice environment. I liked the atmosphere in the dining area; it was like going to a restaurant. The folks that live there seemed to be enjoying the meals. I felt it would be a good home for my mom.

Chateau de Boise is a very friendly place. The people are very friendly and it continues to be that way. I've been here about two months, and we have a lot of activities like card games, Wii Bowling, and Midnight Baseball. We've got people coming in. Actually, there's somebody downstairs playing the piano now, and it's really nice. We have adventure travels, scrabble, chess, checkers. All day long, they got something going on. They have a very good chef. The food is very good, too. I like this place very well. The staff was top-notch. They are very helpful and friendly. The residents are very friendly as well. It is a good place to be.

I would not live at Chateau de Boise because they keep it too hot. My relative is in a furnished room that is comparable to a hotel room. You eat downstairs, and a maid takes care of the room. They have an exercise room, patio, and a big cafeteria. I was not able to eat there, but the food smelled good.

Chateau de Boise was excellent. It’s much closer to where I live and spacious. It looks a little older but seemed to be in order, and the apartments and eating area were clean. Everybody looked healthy and happy. They accommodated us just fine, but my mother decided not to go to any facility.

Chateau de Boise felt like there was a little bit more that the residents had to do, like they had to do their own laundry. They didn't have nurses that actually live there in the facility that would help you. I think it was only independent living. There was a vague smell of urine that kind of turned me off, and I don't know if it's just maybe because it's an older facility or because the residents had to do their own laundry, but that kind of turned me off. When I walked in there were some residents in front of the TV, and I think they were doing some sort of exercise. I also remember seeing residents playing bingo. I wasn't super impressed with the calendar of activities, and nothing really popped out at me that I can say "that sounds cool" about.
