Grosvenor Quality Care is an excellent facility. I’m extremely pleased with the level of care provided. I like the food and the director of the facility. It’s a wonderful choice for her. This is a place that is pretty full, as she shares a semi-private room. There is another elderly resident there and the two of them have formed a good friendship. They entertain themselves and they do things like have barbecues since they have a nice yard where they can sit outside. She has shied away from going to senior places for pretty much her entire life. The staff was great. They are there during the day and I talked to them. They talked to her while they were fixing breakfast or serving her lunch or dinner. She interacts with them because she is in the house. They had a holiday picnic for them last July 4th -- they had food such as hot dogs and chicken. It seems that they gave them what they want. If you like something special to eat, they will fix it for you -- I think for her, this is pleasurable. They have a menu everyday. They serve you breakfast, lunch, and dinner -- they also have snacks. Mom enjoys the food. They had roast beef, mashed potatoes, and string beans one day. They cooked everything. They pay individual attention to each person. They will accommodate each person's needs. There was one person there with limited eyesight and each morning they lay out her clothes for her. If you have a health condition, they will accommodate you and deal with that specifically. The place is wonderful and I would recommend it.
