My sister moved here. I like that they have a salt swimming pool and all the activities they have for their residents. The staff is friendly, and I like the size of the studio apartment. It's good and it's improving because they're a new company that's come in there. So, they're making improvements every day. I don't think it was when they got in there, but they're doing a fantastic job and upgrading stuff daily. My sister eats there every day and she seems to enjoy it, but I have not eaten there. She hasn't missed a meal, and they feed her breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have transportation within a 10-mile radius, bus transportation. They'll take them to doctor's appointments and have secured parking lots. They allow pets and they have lots of activities. They have a theater, a couple of areas where they always have movies playing, and a beauty shop.

My dad and I toured. They only showed us one apartment. They allowed everything. My dad liked it. He was out of breath by the time he was done because it's a big area. The staff was very helpful and everything. She had another appointment, but they didn't show up. So she went ahead and took us and showed us around. I expected a longer walkthrough, but it came out perfect because we got to be at the other place at 3:00. So it came up great. She told us what came with the apartment was the mini fridge and the microwave. They had a little area set up for you to have a microwave or toaster.

My wife and I went and visited. They showed us around and showed us everything. Primarily, the location was best for us because of the closeness. The next thing we liked was how everything was very well laid out. The facility was very clean and easy to navigate. We felt like my friend would be comfortable there. We took him last week to visit, and he felt the same way. He wasn't put off by the size of the room. We were a little concerned because they were fairly small rooms. It was previously a hotel. The actual rooms are either a hotel room or a suite. They replace all the appliances for new patients. They have a refrigerator and a microwave. There was lots of sunshine and big windows.

I was not happy with my husband's care at the other facility, so when this one had an opening, I transferred him over there and they're doing a very nice job. I like their format of treating the residents. They have one big room that they all stay in all day long. They're not allowed to stay in their rooms, where they can't be with other people. My husband seems to be a lot more alert and they have activities for them, and they have birdcages and things that they can look at and enjoy. The staff seems to be very caring. The facility itself is an old hotel and it is very well done. It has a very warm entryway. People are very pleasant and then you take a private elevator to the second floor where the memory care unit is, and that's where all the activities take place. That's where they have their meals, and then they have their rooms on the third floor and the room is quite large and very nice. We brought our own furniture there, and he's in an area where there are two rooms side by side with a shared bathroom, and he seems to be doing very well there. They did a family Thanksgiving and family Christmas meals, and the meals were very nicely done and very nicely served. The dining room is very pleasant. They have arts and crafts and separate areas where they can watch TV. There's a little fireplace, an artificial one, where they could sit in lounge chairs and take a little nap if they want to. Then they have games that they play. They try to engage everybody to participate and then they have a nice veranda that they can go out and it's all enclosed. That overlooks the swimming pool. Then they have another area that is furnished with benches and artificial plants that overlooks 34th Street. It's an activity that stimulates them to look at moving traffic and whatever. The community is very bright and very cheerful. There were always activities going around and there just seemed to be staff around there all the time. They have juice for them and they have iced tea, and then they serve them snacks in between their meals. They keep an eye on them and that's the main reason, that they're always looking and they know who my husband is. As soon as he moved in, I would visit and they said he's over here by the window or whatever.

It was beautiful. The room was well kept, comfortable, clean, and tidy. The staff was very friendly. They offer activities, mainly crafts and group activities, movies, and things like that.

We went to tour. We were looking for a 2-bedroom apartment with laundry, but they didn't have it there. Everything was nice, except that the rooms were very small. Their rooms, they were hotel rooms. I'm looking for more of an apartment size. The furniture was a little dirty, but the facilities were nice and clean, and the staff seemed very friendly. The place was bright and it was well-maintained. They showed the salon, the physical therapy area, all of the public spaces, the dining room, the coffee shop, and the movie theater. The staff was very nice and very accommodating. It was an older building and it's hard to disguise that. So, when you go into some of the public restrooms, you can tell they're older and not as clean as I would have liked.

We went here. Initially, my father liked it, and he wanted to go, but it wasn't helpful. It wasn't beneficial. And the lady that took us around was wonderful, but she recommended we go to somebody to help us with my mom getting Medicaid and everything. That person was not a nice. The people were nice. It's beautiful on the inside because it used to be a hotel. So it was beautiful on the inside. They have a pool. You can live in the assisted living facility and they will come and get you to take you to the memory care unit every day and you can stay four or 5 hours a day and then they bring you back to your room. For all their activities, you go up to the memory room. The room is really nice, but they only offered one bedroom. The living room is spacious. It looks like it's a regular one-bedroom apartment without looking studio-ish. They supply the microwave. They had a hotel vibe set up when you go out back with the tables with the umbrellas by the pool. The thing that my father liked about it the best was they have a room where only the Ted Turner classic movies play all day. And that was what I think that's what made him want to go. They have three meals a day, basically the same setup as with the other place. There's always coffee ready, there's always hot water, if you want tea, all the tea bags and sugar, like there's the whole set up, and there's always water.

My mom moved here. They allow smoking. They go above and beyond in taking care of their staff. The people on their team have a very hard job, especially with memory care. They have a beautiful view of the pool. The outside area is very nice. The facility is clean. They have a courtyard, a salon, a store, a movie theater, and a 24-hour doctor.

My mom has been living here. The people, especially in memory care, are at least half-angels, they're taking care of my mom and the other folks. We are very satisfied with the memory care staff at Grand Villa. She has a very nice room, she has one roommate, and they get along extremely well. The residents live on the fourth floor and come down all day to the second floor for all three meals and activities. When I'm there, I can take her outside by the pool and everything else, then take her back up. So it's a great daily experience for them in memory care. The dining area is very open. So they're a community, having friends and neighbors, for all three meals everybody is in a dining room, it's a great motivational experience for somebody in memory care. There are daily activities from drawing to all kinds of games, and they have physical activity, which is pretty limited due to people being in walkers and wheelchairs. But there are always activities every day, they have multiple TV's, they have singers, and they do karaoke on different days of the week.

My father has been a resident in Memory Care for over a year. The staff is fabulous and they keep all the residents active every day; no one is left in bed! My father is well taken care of, bathed, clothed, etc. and seems to be very happy. The residents spend their day on the recreation floor and you wouldn’t know it is elderly people at all-there is no bad odor typical in many facilities. The rooms are kept clean and family is welcome to see the rooms and/or family member at any time, no need to schedule or even say you are coming. If the room needs attention, as they sometimes do, they address issues immediately, there is no time wasted in cleaning areas properly. I have nothing but good things to say about all of the staff!

My tour here was great, it's one of the places I want to go back to. I like the fact that it had 1-bedroom units and some of the places don't have those. I like the whole facility and I like the person I was dealing with there. I like the layout of the whole place, most of the places offer the same amenities, it's just how they look and the feel of The 1-bedroom was very spacious and that's what I'm looking for. I'm looking for something with a little more room than just a studio apartment. It's like 630 square feet. They've got lots of options as far as activities, they have a theater, they play cards, bingo. They're very comparable.

I'm moving here on Saturday. My daughter chose it, and we toured it the other day. They have physical therapy and a pool. It met all of our needs. Actually, I have a studio room overlooking the pool. They have different rooms, but I only looked at the studio. The staff was just very friendly, compassionate, and funny.

We're hoping to move my mother-in-law by January. I toured it, it was great, and I made up my mind right then. I saw all of it with mask on, and it was very nice. They had a piano and people can come and play the piano, they had a pet bunny, a big swimming pool that people can use, music, game night, a beautiful solarium with plants that they can walk around in, and a nice dining room. The dining room wasn't open for guests though.

It was very nice. The inside was nice as well. I didn't like that it's a little further from my house and it's off of a busier, not as desirable area of town, because there's interstate noise behind it. The residents looked a lot older and frailer than my mother. The staff member was very good during the tour. The food looked very good; they have a chef. If you don't like anything on the menu you can get something else. It's off of a main street with some shopping centers across the way.

It was terrific and conveniently located to where we have a condo about four miles away. It was spacious, and I really liked the fact that it had a lot of windows, so it was sunny and a lot of natural light came in which I felt was important for people with memory care problems. The rooms were spacious and laid out nicely. The staff was very informative. All the dining areas looked like they should have been on a cruise ship, and it had a movie theater. We liked everything about the place. Of the facilities we visited, this was the best.

It is impressive. The person who assisted me was very helpful. It used to be a hotel resort, so it's more hotelish than homey. With all the rooms, you aren't sure if you're in a hotel resort or in an assisted living. There is a grandiose pool and a tennis court. However, my dad prefers more of a home-style than a resort-style community.

It has independent living, assisted living, and memory units. It was nice, and it had a swimming pool. I looked at a 1-bedroom, and it was nicely setup with a living room, bedroom, shower, and kitchenette. I can cook, and if I don’t want to, then I can go to the dining room or have it delivered in my room.

I toured here. The people that helped me around were wonderful. We didn’t eat there, but the food looked good. The thing that I like about it was that along the bottom floor, they had patio apartments, so that your little apartment opened right onto a little patio. That’s where I wanted to stay. There aren’t any available right now, but I told them that whenever one becomes available to call me.

It was absolutely beautiful but definitely was way more than what Mom needed. It’s very clean and had a pool, walking path with birds chirping, and was absolutely amazing. I want to move in, but it was too far away.

I know they had a very nice program and very nice floor plan, but it was more of an assisted living place. They didn’t have the services that my dad would need, like help getting up and down, but they had a wonderful program.

It was great. It was a lot more quiet. I loved the people, and they knew what they were doing. They took me and my family on a great tour. They had studio apartments, and they were just fine for me. The food was excellent. The social recreation was fantastic! They came out with a monthly list, and they were doing something all the time. It was something that I really liked about it. They had all different kinds of activities, different kinds of classes, different kinds groups, religious services, and they even had rides. Their property was huge, and they would allow my little mini schnauzer.

I have already moved my mom here. I like that it is a brand new facility, and it is close to home. My mom's room is small, but they keep everyone in the community room, and then they only go up to their rooms at night. The staff is very caring, friendly, and attentive.

The staff is very helpful. We have eaten there several times, and the dining room is very elegant. They have activities like bingo, and they take the residents out for sightseeing every weekend. They allowed us to decorate my mom’s room, and it is being kept clean. It is like a hotel.
