My sister is at Topics AFCH. I chose this place because it is exactly what I wanted. What impressed me the most was that it's a very small place. There are only five clients there since it is privately owned, and so she is very happy there, and so am I. They all have their own private rooms, private bathrooms, and they have cleaning aides on call. So it is five clients at a time. It has home cooked meals -- the owner cooks all the meals -- and she is very, very nice, very clean, and very professional. I have been there for dinner, and the food was excellent. As far as I know, they take them out for a walk, and there is a swimming pool. They keep them busy. Right now, she has everything that I would want for her. She is an Alzheimer's dementia patient and there isn't much more you can give her than she requires, and she gets very good food, it's very clean, and she gets outside every day. They are trying to get her to walk more, and these are the things that we need at this point.
