I toured the Grand Villa of New Port Richey. It's a high rise. I didn't find it to be what my sister was looking for. I was quite old, and the grounds had no place for her dogs to go anywhere. The staff had a little more knowledge than the other two places we've seen. They've probably done longer and more experiences. They had an outreach program to help people like myself who are exploring facilities for a loved one. The community seemed to be clean and fresh. The paint was good, the furniture was updated, and the screen porch areas were very nice.

We are leaning towards Grand Villa of New Port Richey. The staffing was very supportive. They were very detailed in regards to additional benefits, whether it be through the VA or Medicare. They're very thorough and very helpful. The facility looked fairly good. It seemed like they have quite a bit of activities. The atmosphere was very welcoming. The dining area was on the first floor restaurant-style. I met the chef and some of the staff. The rooms were very adequate for what we're looking for.

Grand Villa of New Port Richey's staff was plentiful and more friendly. They had game rooms and a good cafeteria and so on. It's more in a residential area. The bedroom size was good.

I toured the Grand Villa of New Port Richey. There were a couple of floors. I can't realistically see a resident getting in the elevator, going from one floor to the other depending on what's taking place. So, that didn't rest easy with me, because my brother can get confused at times, and navigating the floors and activities I thought was just a little too much for him to deal with. The staff is very informative. They offered that when a party reaches a financial point where it's not sustainable, there are different options with Medicaid, and different sources that you can get in touch with. So, they were very friendly in offering that information.

Grand Villa of New Port Richey would be a very good place for a single person to live in because the apartments were very small. The facility itself was very well kept and clean. The staff was very nice. We saw the dining room and the activity rooms on each one of the floors, and they were all very nice.

Grand Villa of New Port Richey was not as pristine as the other place I toured, but the staff was definitely very attentive and very friendly. It was very neat and clean. It just wasn't as upscale as the other place. They had a gym, a salon, a game room, and a theater room. It was near a school.

My stepmom's daughter had her move into Grand Villa of New Port Richey. When I went to visit her, there was a check-in. They made sure that not just anybody was coming in to visit. They checked to make sure you're healthy to visit and who you are going to visit. It had a nice area for dining and assigned seating, so that the people would know where they were going to eat. Her bedroom place where she sleeps and watches TV was a nice size. For now, she's in a room that she is not sharing. It might be different if she shared a room. I believe they are smaller. They had activities for the people. They never forced people to join the activities. There was a smoking area for those who had that habit. It was a laidback atmosphere. When I went to visit her, she seemed very happy. The interaction with the staff was good. There was always somebody saying hello when you came in. When you left, they said goodbye. I thought it was a welcoming community. The nurses' station was available. As you walk in, it's right there. If you have any questions or concerns, you can address them at that time. Besides the computer check-in, there is a receptionist in case you have any questions or need help with anything. They have different floors. The only drawback is that there was just one elevator for people to go up and down. At times, it got crowded. It felt to me that if there is a fire or anything, it would take a while to get everybody out. I think that was a concern. She raves about the food. Value for money is pretty good.

We are choosing the Grand Villa of New Port Richey for my mom. It was a great place and I was impressed with its cleanliness. The staff was all friendly. Tiffany gave us the tour and she was awesome. They had a beauty salon and a nail salon. They also have an entertainment area with a live bunny rabbit in there and a little sofa where they could get together. They have a lot of activities going on in there like bingo and crafts.

I thought the Grand Villa of New Port Richey was pretty good. They had quite a lot of activities, and it seemed like the people there liked the place. They had a lot of nice, caring people there. The workers seemed to be caring. They had like a lot of nice protocols for COVID. They were really careful about it. The person who took me around was very informative. He was good. They have a refrigerator and a microwave in the apartment. There was no stove, just a refrigerator and a microwave, which is all you need. They have all kinds of activities going on there like arts and crafts and exercise. You name it, they got everything.

We've chosen the Grand Villa of New Port Richey. There was a lot of activity, and lots of things for the residents to do. They were all very active, people coming and going. They had a physical therapist on site. They had multiple social rooms, but one room had two bunnies and people like therapy animals. It was just delightful. The dining room was beautiful. The menu looked good. and I like the fact that If my mother-in-law wanted to be able to come and go she could. But they also had a bus, all kinds of activities where the bus took them to different places, on different days. And when she's well, she needs that.

My mom is at Grand Villa of New Port Richey. It feels very accommodating. They take care of my mom with her medications and her emotions. We have been very well pleased. They could probably do more activities, but my mom seems to be fine with what they have. She always says the meals are good. If they would have a little bit more outdoor seating areas for them to sit on, would be the only thing I would add to it. Overall, we are fine with what my mom is paying. They have libraries and places for her to sit outside.

Grand Villa of New Port Richey was a nice hotel-like setting. It's five stories. They have different activities set up on each floor and they have a floor for dementia and Alzheimer's patients, which is very nice. The accommodations were new. They had about four or five variety of rooms to offer. The staff was very professional, very kind, answered any questions that I had, and gave me plenty of paperwork and stuff to take home. They had a library, a computer center, pool tables, a recreation part for bingo, and they had movie night once a week. The facility was pretty nice.

I went to visit the Grand Villa of New Port Richey and I like it the best, it's the nicest one we've visited. The rooms looked nice. They seem to have more variety of entertainment for their clients there to keep them occupied. The staff was very nice, and they were very welcoming. It was nice talking to different people. I saw their sample rooms, they were nice. The layout of the facility also looked nice, they had elevators, a salon, a jukebox, and different things to do. I was impressed with them.

We put our mother-in-law at the Grand Villa of New Port Richey, they're wonderful. The memory care is awesome, they keep the residents busy from the time they wake up until the time they go to bed. The facility is beautiful and very well kept. We were there when they were eating, and it looked and smelled wonderful, but we didn't try the food. The staff is excellent, everybody there. They have something to do all day long, like singing, dancing, and they take them for walks outside. They're excellent. It's higher than you want to pay, but for what it is, it's a fair price.

I liked the Grand Villa of New Port Richey. The gentleman that I spoke to was very informative, everything looked nice there. I saw the dining room. I didn't eat there. I just saw the dining room. All the help seemed to be very nice. That was one of my first choices. I saw one of the apartments, it was what I expected. There was a bed, a closet, and a bathroom.

Grand Villa of New Port Richey was a five-story building. The grounds seemed OK and they had places to sit outside. The person during the tour was nice. I met with the person who does the planning of activities, and they had us on the third floor. They had a lot of different games and stuff. I had a meal and it was very good. The rooms looked OK to me. I liked the facility and at first, I thought that would be where I'd go, and then I've kinda decided I'm not gonna go for a little while.

My mother moved into the Grand Villa of New Port Richey. They have a dedicated staff for the residents in memory care. They have a dedicated floor. The recreation manager who does activities with them is specific to the floor. It's not like you share between memory care and assisted living. I go to see my mother probably two to three times a week. I see the staff interact with the residents and they do it in a loving, caring way. It's just a phenomenal place. Her accommodation is wonderful. It's clean, she's in a shared room, but they have privacy. It's roomy. It's just like being in a home. Every other day there's a manager special, they have like sitting exercise groups. They have karaoke, they have bingo, they have different crafts, and every day there's something. They're very accommodating because the assisted living has a Catholic mass and they're able to bring my mother to the mass, you know, once a week. They have the mass every day during the week, but they made arrangements for my mother to attend once a week, which is very important for her. Some of their activities, it's two or three times a week. They do like an outing. They take them on a tour. We have a wilderness park near us, or they go to the beach, but at least they're out, like a drive. And then they also take strolls, like outside, they have a garden area, a secure area like a patio. It's a big patio and it has several plants out there, and the residents can tend to the plants, water them, and that sort of thing.

My mother-in-law moved into the Grand Villa of New Port Richey. They were very caring, and I really felt that they would take care of my mother-in-law. It was clean, they had a lot of activities, and everything they offered there was great. The rooms are very, very nice. The menu looks good. The dining area is really nice. They had a luau, the afternoon we went in there they had this small band, and they were all in the dining room singing. I went upstairs, they had bunny rabbits, they were doing arts and crafts. Yesterday when I went there, they were in a movie theater watching movies. They had a lot of things for them to do. I talked to people that have been there for seven years and they loved it there.

The Grand Villa is a very clean well maintained ALF and Memory Care ALF. The Rooms a very nice and common areas well maintained. The residents seemed happy and well cared for. They love their entertainment director Rob keeps them engaged with singing and dancing. The staff was very caring, supportive and professional from my initial tour, to paperwork, move in and care plan and transition of my Mom to the ALF. Thanks to Roberta, Barbara & Misty for making a difficult decision and transition as easy as possible! Thank you to all !

My mother has moved into the Grand Villa of New Port Richey. She's in assisted living. It's very clean, it's well-staffed, and everyone's very pleasant. They have activities and the food is good from what my mother says. The maintenance is very pleasant and there's always someone on staff. She has a private room and it's very nice and very spacious. She has a full-sized bed in there, a chest of drawers with a mirror, a chair, and a good-sized private bathroom. They have a fitness room and they do activities too.

My sister is staying on respite at Grand Villa of New Port Richey. It is very clean. They are very nice, and she is well taken care of. I have to say that the only complaint I have is probably that it is so difficult trying to get somebody in there. They are not much help with trying to help you get them in. You have got to go somewhere else to get the work done before you can bring them in. It is just the paperwork though. The people are nice, and the place is very clean, so it is what it is. She told me she likes the food, and she is happy. They have bingo, sitting side, and name that tune. They have a lot of little things and she is happy.

My husband will be moving into Grand Villa of New Port Richey. Our experience was very positive; that's why we chose it. The staff was wonderful with the clients, and we just saw a lot of love. It was very clean. It's just a very lovely place, and it had been recommended by somebody I know, too. The staff was very caring and just very great with us. The facility was very nice and very nicely arranged. They took us through the whole building, the activities and the dining room. It was just very well put together. We saw people in the dining room, but we did not get to eat the food. It's convenient and it's near downtown.

I have a friend in the Grand Villa of New Port Richey. It's pretty excellent, the room is quite big, but they had a set price. The staff was very good, everybody was very good there, they had a proper chef in the dining area which looked like a restaurant, and was very, very clean. I tried the food, and that was good. The room was bare, you put your own stuff in, so it's up to you how you do that room. You just bring your own furniture.

Grand Villa of New Port Richey is a much older facility, it's in the middle of town. The staff was really, really nice, and there were some structured small activities. The big thing was the cost, you're talking almost $1000 more a month. We looked at the 1-bedrooms and they were very nice. The big concern for my mother was the shower because it was a step-up.

I liked the Grand Villa of New Port Richey. It's a 5-story building, and each level is a different level of care, and they had physical therapy on site, they had the beautician come in, the podiatrist come in, the dermatologist come in, they have a movie theater in the building. It is very nice, the staff is very friendly, it's very clean, the apartments are very nice, it's very active, they have a lot going on, and a church right there as well. The only downfall was they do not have a swimming pool, and my parents living on the beach are used to swimming and exercising. They also have a cafe where the residents just wanna go in and get tea, or coffee, muffins, or crackers, and they have the ability to do that as well.

Grand Villa of New Port Richey was like a hotel. It was very clean and very nice. They gave me a mask and a shield to wear and it was a one-on-one tour. I saw a room and I saw the meeting areas that the residents have. The staff was very nice. It was really expensive, and I didn't quite understand the $2,000 fee to get the room ready when you have to bring your own furniture, so that was a little confusing. It felt homey. I saw a movie room, a craft room, and a billiards room.

We weren't too happy with Grand Villa of New Port Richey because of the rooms' size and the building is quite old. They have a game room where they play numerous different games. They also have a pet that they keep there for the residents to visit with. Their TV room was the game room. Their apartments were really small and they had no place to store your items. Their level of care seems to be pretty good.

I thought this group would be the perfect place to write a review of the Grand Villa of New Port Richey in case anyone was looking for a local place to help take care of their loved one. My grandfather lived on the memory care floor for about 15 months, but passed away in August. My mom and I visited at least 6 times a week, stayed for hours at a time, and were involved in activities with the residents so we saw a lot of what went on. We found people and things we loved in this place and people and things we did not. However, at the end of my grandfather's life things took a turn at the facility and we had nothing but problems. We talked to many people there about our issues and things only got worse. After my grandfather passed, I wrote a google review and a facebook review on their page. We continued to visit the residents on the second floor because after 15 months, we had built a relationship with them. We would visit and bring them pretzels, muffins, etc. Today, my mom and I went to help the residents paint pumpkins but didn't make it to the second floor before the director of the facility told us we were no longer welcome there because of my negative review. I was told I should change my review and make it more positive but I refused. Kicking people out of the facility who actually care for the resident's well-being is a terrible reaction to an honest review. Take my review and make your facility better because of it, don't punish my family and your residents because you don't like hearing the truth. I'd be happy to change my review if I saw changes within the facility. But no, I won't change my review just to gain access to the building. People should read honest reviews, not just the ones the Grand Villa of NPR approves of and the ones their employees put on there. Constructive criticism can be a useful tool to help make improvements, but unfortunately this facility likes to bury bad reviews and ignore the problems.

Grand Villa is the one that I like most. It's the best one. The person who showed me around was very nice. It was a clean and nice building. The rooms were studio apartments. They had a lobby where residents could gather.

Grand Villa of New Port Richey was very nice. They had a one-bedroom with a living room, a small kitchenette, a microwave, a small refrigerator, and a big bathroom. They have nurses and the staff members were very nice. They have a nice restaurant, and the food was delicious. It's just kind of expensive. They were under construction at the time.

My father is living in Grand Villa of New Port Richey. He's been very well taken care of. The staff is excellent. His room is very spacious. The food is good. They have activities. They have movies, Bingo, transportation, happy hour, a religion history class, a book club, cards, crafts, games, and all that. They have something going on all the time.

They seemed to really care about the residents at Grand Villa. They try to see to it that they come down for meals and all that kind of stuff. They don’t just forget about them but try to bring them in and make them part of the community; that was what impressed me the most about them. They were very friendly and accommodating. I guess we didn’t really need that much accommodation at that time, but they were quite friendly. It seemed like the residents were friendly, and the staff was friendly. I didn’t see a problem with the cleanliness. They’ve got construction going on right now, so the parking lot outside was kind of a mess where they’ve got construction equipment, lumber, door frames, and all that stuff taking up a lot of the parking spaces. As far as the inside, it was good.

Grand Villa is under renovation right now because it needs it pretty badly. They seem to have a nice staff, but the location is not the best. The outdoor area for people who like to go out and sit is not adequate, and there isn't room to expand. The rooms are spacious but drab. I saw an activity room, but there was nothing special about it.

It seemed small. My mother loves to read, and they didn't have much in the way of books, but they did have crafts, although my mom is not crazy about those kinds of things. The people were very nice. The young man that was at the door was a very nice young man, and everybody was really nice.
