My sister-in-law did rehab at Memorial Rehabilitation Institute at Memorial Regional Hospital South. She wasn't happy with it, but we were. She's picky, but I thought they did a great job. They had updated facilities. She learned to walk up and down the stairs and ramps, and even had a small BMW there, so she was trained to get in and out of a car, how to do her laundry, and make a bed. It was pretty advanced. It's outside of the hospital and it has its own building. It's a part of Memorial Hospital, but it's in a separate location. The PT and OT things kept her pretty busy. The therapy was quite extensive.

I was a patient at Memorial South and I call them the A team.. Dr Salando and his team got me back on my feet in record time. They provided me with care that went beyond expectations, I spent two months fighting covid 19 I lost my son who went in the same time I did. The day I was removed from covid ward I called re-hab said please do not let me lay here.. They moved me that same day. I was depressed Dr Salando sent a psychiatrist. This re-hab center has the best nurses and therapist in Florida. The facility has a complete gym, a kitchen and even a car THANK YOU A TEAM ROSE CHAPPELL The room was private and very nice... the facility state of the arts. The interactions with the nurses very enjoyable I love the A TEAM Amenities top of the line. Activities very good The warm blankets wonderful but what they did for me is put me back on feet by not only providing me with medical support but emotional support as well. If you can get your love one into this facility GO FOR IT

My dad is in the Memorial Rehabilitation Institute at Memorial Regional Hospital South for rehab. Right now, the visits are being controlled because of the high cases of COVID and all that, but so far what we've seen is that everyone has been just really on top of him and making all the measures. The nurses that I've met have been really nice, and they're trying to make him as active as possible. They're very caring and the fact that he doesn't fully understand English, they try their best to allocate him with the nurse that is the right fit for him and they're very patient. They usually always put him with a bilingual nurse, that way they can communicate and so he feels comfortable. One of the therapy they give my dad is a musical therapy where they're trying to make him do some steps on his own, and one of the nurses actually had a guitar and started singing them the song to kind of go with the rhythm of it. I've never seen that before, so I thought that was nice.

PT & OT PROGRAMS are excellent. Physician communication & nursing team approach really helped to make sure I was sent home with all the tools I needed to continue my outpatient rehab. Facility was clean and the nursing staff went above & beyond- I’ve never seen anything like it.

The staff at Memorial Rehabilitation was excellent and did a great job. I am walking again. The living quarters were not great but good. I liked the food. Everything was good there. I absolutely enjoyed it. They're very caring. They had a guitar player that came in, which was about it for entertainment.
