The Hacienda House is a beautiful place and offers great care to seniors. The building has a wonderful old world architectural style and has great gardens! The rooms have great furniture and decor and even have hand painted murals. But all the amenities in the facility are modern. Ms. Elsa, the owner and Caregiver, with a very bubbly personality, has a lot of stories to tell. Together with her husband, Fred, they have traveled and lived in different parts of the world: from Argentina to Canada, to most European Countries, inclusive, Egypt and some Asian countries. The food they offer is great quality and tailored to each residents' needs. They offer fun entertainment as well. Last Christmas an Elvis impersonator was invited. I highly recommend The Hacienda House as a high quality, caring, yet affordable assisted living facility.

- Special Comment: The Hacienda House is a dream come true for owners Fred and Elsa Wolter. They have translated their vision for quality professional adult care surrounded by beauty and charm into this majestic 4600 square foot Tuscany-style estate house. Laid out in traditional hacienda style with a variety of small efficiency suites and apartments interspersed within a dignified dwelling, the Hacienda House and adjacent Roman Villa, with its half olympic-style swimming pool and stately column-framed courtyard, look more like a high-end European resort than an affordable, adult healthcare facility.

I am so glad my grandmother found this place that she can now call home. The Hacienda House is set in a beautiful area in Brooksville surrounded by fields, gardens and oak trees. The place is so tranquil, it feels almost a step into the past and reminds me of bygone times. I feel relaxed after leaving when I come to visit my grandma. The first moment we toured this place we were greeted by Elsa, the owner and caregiver of this facility. Immediately we were offered coffee, tea with cheesecake. Elsa and Fred her husband have a European background, they speak, besides English, German, Spanish some Italian and French. What impressed me the most is the continuous companionship that is offered here. Elsa is super attentive. My grandma and the other ladies are never alone, they become part of the family. Also, contrary to other places or institutions, in the mornings, they are not forced to get up so early. They have a choice to sleep in a bit if they want, which my grandmother appreciates. Breakfast is served on a tray in the room or in the library. I find this so cool!, it is almost like a B&B. I wish I could retire here too! LOL. The attention at The Hacienda House is definitely individualized and tailored to each resident with much care. I highly recommend this facility.

I actually live right next door to the Hacienda House and my husband and I are good friends to Elsa and Fred W. I visit them regularly and interact with the residents (previously to becoming a professional, I was a CNA and worked for various assisted living facilities), and I will tell you that Elsa is kind, compassionate, caring, clean and takes very good care of her residents. Elsa affectionately calls her residents "Golden Princesses" and I often see her taking them on outings in her van. I have been over a few times around dinner and have seen the food that these residents eat (loaded with nutritious food--meat/vegetables/salads and they even got dessert--I am thankful that we get invited to dinner! :D) I will say that The Hacienda House is not a facility, it's an amazingly clean HOME (with lots of attention is paid to the residents and they are treated like family--hugs/kisses/and most importantly conversation!) Patients have their own private rooms and Elsa provides around the clock care for her residents (and I believe she starts at around $1900 a month--and includes their food, room, and weekly outings.) I have spoken to residents and they are always clean, happy, and visiting with each other. I wish my grandmother would have been able to retire down here as I KNOW she would have received fantastic care. Also, Elsa has told me that she provides tours and coffee, tea, and cheesecake are always available (SERIOUSLY!) Go and check out The Hacienda House, it's amazing!

I am Ms. Betty, a Resident of the Hacienda House. For about 18 month now, this is home to me. I am so happy here. Elsa, the owner and caregiver will do everything in her power to satisfy our needs. She is not only a Certified Nurse Assistant, but knows about natural medicine and uses common sense when it comes to medicine. She will investigate and find the information needed from all sources, pharmacy and doctors and books. She is the designer and decorator of this beautiful facility, I mean It is beautiful!. One can feel the "Old country" influence, Tuscany, perhaps, Mediterranean style architecture and design. Food is excellent, a bit international. Our outings are weekly to a restaurant or dinner, which we pick democratically. Most important of all, i am not alone anymore!. I found a family in Elsa and Fred. Additional to English they speak German, Spanish and some French.

Mom moved into The Hacienda House on June 1st. The exterior looks very Spanish, and it is very comfortable, very clean, extremely well decorated, and does not look like a senior home or a rehab place. It looks more like a resort. The level of the furnishings is resort-like as opposed to hospital-like. Mom is very happy there. She has a one-bedroom with a little entryway to access her bedroom and a small kitchenette. They provide all her meals and have a refrigerator there, if she wanted something. Outside of her suite is a living room or entertainment room with couches and chairs, so she has a lot of people who come and visit her. It's like she has her own private living room apart from the main living room. It couldn’t be better. The staff is very friendly, very helpful, well trained, well spoken, and highly regarded by the doctors in the area.

I have known Mrs. Elsa, Administrator/Certified Nurse Assistant/Owner of the The Hacienda House, for a very long time, beginning as a business relationship which grew into close friendship. Through this time, we have had many opportunities to interact and observe the Residents who live there and witnessed that they are very well taken care of with loving patience and good humor. The quality of care is superb, and most residents have lived there for more than 4 years! Given healthy, delicious foods while being surrounded by the beautiful environment of enchanting room decor and oak tree bordered gardens..is like stepping into paradise from another time. When the time comes for one of our loved ones to be cared for, we will definitely choose The Hacienda House in a heartbeat because we know they will receive the quality of care, treatment, and love they deserve.
