I have been here 4 years and plan to stay as long as I remain independent. The people are friendly and activities are good fun. The management we have now is efficient and organized and takes care of things needing attention as fast as possible. This is the first apartment I have had that I call "my home."

We went to Belcaro, but that was not what we're looking for at all, and we're much more mobile and active than what we saw. It was for a much older group of people, they were less active, but the facility was clean and fine, there was nothing wrong with it at all. The receptionists were both outside smoking, and an old woman has to go and tell them, but the resident that spoke to us seemed very happy there. They were unable to show us the rooms, and the facilities were adequate, but nothing extraordinary. We were not ready for that environment.

Belcaro is lovely, clean, and modern. The people are very friendly. The apartments are very spacious. My brother has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. All the rooms are wheelchair friendly where the doors and the kitchen are really wide. One wall is painted a different color than white, which is unheard of in an apartment.

I was able to visit Belcaro. I liked it, and it's nice. The 2-bedroom I wanted has a kitchen, a living room, there's a bay window, two bathrooms, and it has laundry in the apartment. The ambiance is very well-kept. It has little sitting rooms in several places in the hall, a lot of places where the residents meet, and it has a dog park, which I want. It has a walking trail, and it's fairly secluded. They have a bus and they take trips or go shopping

My mother chose The Belcaro because they have nice, spacious, and modern apartments. They also have a little dog park which is a nice area for walking the dog. It's an over-55 building so they don't provide any food. There's also no one available 24/7, so you'd have to provide that for yourself. They have activities for the residents, and it's a really nice place. I would recommend this place to anyone who is fully independent, but not if they need more care.
