"After visiting several facilities, we chose this one. Staff is attentive and caring and really care about the residence. the facility is beautifully located among trees and landscaping. Outdoor areas are shaded and raised garden beds. Smaller main building with many amenities that keep it more personal. Dining and food was superb. Mom, 90 years young, is loving it! "

"My husband stayed at Ivy Park at Santa Rosa. The atmosphere was very friendly. All the people were friendly. The care was good. The food was delicious. It was just a happy place, and the therapy was good. They had activities every day, and you could choose to participate in them or not. They had entertainment come in maybe once or twice a month. My husband's room was very nice. He had a little studio, so it was just big enough for him. They had an activity room with puzzles, a pool table, a television, and crafts. There was a park or a trail close by where they could walk. They had a lot of things to keep people busy."

"Oakmont Gardens offered many outside activities and other things that seemed good for people who wanted to be more active. The apartments were sufficient, and the large facility was not appealing to my dad. The whole area is a historically senior living community, and so there are varying levels of housing for those types of seniors. It's pretty diverse, but probably too overwhelming for my dad. It's like a little city. The staff who gave the tour was very helpful. The facility seemed clean but a bit older."

"The first thing we did when we visited Emeritus at Rohnert Park was eat. They have chefs there and you can order anything anytime. It's like a restaurant. They have gardens, walkways, and places that you can go. We just wanted to look at a two bedroom and two bath apartments, but they actually have many floor plans to look at. Their rooms are big. It's a modern facility and it’s impressive. "

"The Villas is excellent. We never had a problem. It's really nice, much better than places my mom was in previously. It's convenient for us and not too far away. The staff is really good, we know what’s going on. I haven’t eaten there but they have a list of everything. Mom has no problem eating the food. She has a shared room. She was in a huge shared room. She was okay with it but then they gave her her own room. I don't think she enjoyed that at all. I was surprised, I thought she wanted to be by herself. But she had a little attitude so she was back with someone else. "

"Shiloh Green Manor would have been the most affordable place for us. It was a house but it was clean. The only problem was my mom wouldn't have been able to have her dog there. Regardless, she would have liked it there. It was sunny, cheerful, and very clean. When I visited there were two women at the table listening to music and talking with each other. The woman who was running it seemed to have a lot of experience. It was a totally different type of place, and for what it was, it was great. It would have been adequate for my mom. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. They gave me some paperwork that I would have to do; I liked them."

"The team at Our Golden Years has been absolutely amazing with my Dad, who has a lot of needs. When we brought our Dad to this place, we intended to start hospice (per the hospital's suggestion) because he was doing so poorly and with the care he has received at OGY, he has improved immensely, both physically and cognitively. They have taken such good care of him, as if he were part of their own family. My sister and I have finally been able to relax knowing that he is in such goods hands. I'm amazed at his recovery and I think it has everything to do with being at Our Golden Years in Windsor. Also, the facility feels like home and it is immaculately clean. I 100% recommend this haven. "Dolly's Manor is very good. They’re taking very good care of my husband. They seem to be very devoted to who they take care of. They’re very good. All the girls take good care of him. Dolly is an R.N. so she can give the medications. She keeps a close eye on them. Her husband does the business portion and helps with transportation. It is board and care. "

"My mother has been at Carriage House for two months now. It is a very nice accommodation. It is half a mile to my mother's church, which makes it convenient for us getting there and for the people from our church visiting her. The owner lady is wonderful. The staff members are very good. They're prompt and courteous. They stick to all the regulations that the State of California imposes upon them. We like it. It is nice. They play bingo every other week on Fridays. They take my mom for a walk every day. One of their caregivers goes with her outside the building. They have crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and TV. They also have what they referred to as a library. Their rooms are all private rooms. My mom's room has a semi-private bathroom."

"My mother has been at Creek Way homes for 2 years now. It's a single-family home, it's clean, bright, and newer, and it has a secure perimeter. They have a little dog that's friendly. The staff was friendly when I'm there."

"Sunset Garden II was nice and clean. I like the fact that there are only 4 ladies there, which is wonderful. The owner even is great; she responds to anything that I ask. All of the caregivers -- except for one -- are great. But I?ve made arrangements because my mother has a private caregiver who came with her, so that helped solve that one little problem that we had. "This is a very nice place. It's well located in a little suburban community in central Santa Rosa, just off Fulton Road. The facility is small and very homey and well kept. It's also reasonably priced, and there's usually a waiting list to get in. The staff is just excellent. They treat everyone as if they're a part of their family. They offer really good care. And the nurse manager (she might be the owner) is fabulous. They offer lots of individual attention. They keep the residents engaged with one-on-one attention. They're especially good with dementia care. The dementia patients do well here at all stages, unless it's someone who needs skilled nursing or who has severe behavioral problems. I could live here. It's that nice. And the food is fabulous."
