We looked at Citrus Place. The prices and everything we got were more for independent living. It looked more like apartments, which makes sense for the independent living. We happened to go on a very slow day. Sundays, I guess, are their slowest days, so we didn't really see a lot going on. The staff was very informative. From what I understand, a lot of the staff has been there for a long time, and so it was nice for independent living, which is something that we are not looking for. Overall, for independent living, I thought it was nice. They do serve food there. We were there around the time where they were serving lunch at 11:00, but we did not sample the food.

I went to Citrus Place, and that's a really nice facility, but it's privately funded. The facility is beautiful. I love that place. If money weren't an option, that would definitely be the place that I would put my mom in. They have a cafeteria. They showed me the living quarters and the courtyard. Everyone was very friendly and polite. There is very easy access to everything. It is a very hospitable place. The staff who gave the tour was great.

We toured Citrus Place. We liked the staff and the condition of the place. It was clean and well-appointed. We liked it a lot. We even thought that the cost was reasonable, but my mom decided not to do that. The staff were wonderful, and the facility was great.

I really liked Citrus Place. I lived there a long time and it was really, really nice, but it was pretty expensive. The community is spotless, no bugs, no nothing. The people are absolutely fantastic. The person that was in charge was Donna, but I don't think she's there anymore. If you had a complaint or you needed help, you just tell her, and she turns around and fixes it right then. The food is fantastic. The parking is wonderful. It has a bus come by about every 20 minutes, and they have a lot of activities. They take bus rides about once a month out to some place to sightsee or whatever. I couldn't claim one fault in it. The people were all just about the same ages. We all got along really good. They had it worked out really fantastic. I have nothing bad to say about them. The staff was real nice. It wasn't overstaffed or understaffed. The staff was just right. If you needed help, just turn around, and there'll be somebody there. You can ask them a question. If there's anything we need in our room, we tell them, and it's fixed that day usually. They had a pool, poker, just a lot stuff that would be fun for everybody. They had everything that you want. Everybody is kept busy. The exercise was good too. You get a lot for the money. You get a lot of attention. They make sure that nothing was wrong, or if it was they'd send somebody over. It was just the way you would hope. They don't overdo it. They take care of you like a family.

My uncle is going to move into Citrus Place in Riverside. They have been great. He is not in the facility yet, but his room is ready to go, and we've already paid for it. They have been on top of everything. They're a great help to us. They're absolutely wonderful. We haven't had a chance to taste the food yet, but it smells good there. The building is great. It's very easily accessible. They are constantly cleaning the place. Their rooms are big. My uncle's room is bigger than the one he was in Nevada. At Citrus Place, he has a living room and a bedroom in his room once he gets there.
