Loving Arms Residential Care II

This review is about a year delayed, but I just wanted to comment on the loving care our dad received at Loving Arms Residential Care in 2023. He was there for less than three months before he passed away, but my siblings and I appreciated the caregivers who gave personalized care and showed compassionate love to Dad. This assisted living home is made up of three consecutive homes on a cul-de-sac, with connected back yards/patios so that the caregivers can easily move from house to house as needed and so that the families can sit with their loved one on the back patio if desired. We felt that our whole family was "cared for" and valued, as the caregivers and administrators worked hard to make our dad's last few weeks as comfortable as possible in a homelike environment. Even after Dad passed, we have been back for a visit here and there to say hello to the caregivers and to our dad's "roommate." Definitely take a look at LARC if you are seeking assisted living in a small, intimate environment.

I really liked that Loving Arms Residential Care II was very clean and I really liked the room's set up. The caregivers seemed to be very attentive. I even liked how the homes were in a cul-de-sac, which feels safe to me. The price is good. A lot of the rooms have hospital beds already, which is really nice that we didn't have to order our own. We got really good attention from not only the administrator, but also from the nurse, as well as the caregivers while we were moving my dad in. They were just very helpful and very caring. They're really attentive and patient with my dad. They're very encouraging and they've given us some good follow up since he's moved in. I really appreciate that we've not had to contact them, but they'll actually contact us and let us know how he's doing. Then they have a nice courtyard and a nice patio in the back, but one of the selling points that we had for sure was that they had an awake nighttime caregiver.
