My mother-in-law is already in a board and care facility -- Tender Leisure Care. They have been wonderful to her. They treat her like family and everything. She has dementia, she is in a wheelchair all the time, and she has gone blind. She is just at the end of her life, and this facility is designed to keep people alive and keep them going; that is not where she needs to be at this point. There is a possibility that we might leave her there since she is comfortable there, and then bring a hospice company in. We do not have any problem with them. They have been just wonderful. My husband is going down a couple of weeks to talk to them, and I am hoping that we will be able to work something out and leave her there, so that she can pass among friends and what has now become her family.
