My grandmother has moved into Casa Doctora III. It's not specifically a memory care, but they deal with dementia. It's a room and board. The staff have been very helpful and attentive, and we've been very happy with them so far. I was there yesterday, and they were having lunch, and the lunch was good. For activities, I know some of them do Bible studies, and they were going out and doing some chair exercises. They have a backyard with tables and chairs.

Casa Doctora III had a very nice curb appeal and a very warm and open living area. It's very clean. The residents were eating in the kitchen, and they were being attended to. They did not have any opening at that time, but it would have been some place that I would have talked to again because it had a very nice clean feel about it. Paul was very gracious and his wife is a nurse, so he has a nurse on-staff with him there. He pointed out that they get their food from Restaurant Depot and he had documentation and postings of his staff training on a bulletin board. He had everything readily available to whoever would come in and ask when was the last staff training and when his next training was scheduled.

My husband is at Casa Doctora III. It's very good and I'm very happy. It's a big house. He's in a private bedroom, he has a TV, and he can look out at palm trees. They take good care of him, but a lot of them were sitting watching TV in the living room wrapped in blankets. It's home-cooked food. The staff is very good and very caring. The place is immaculate. They have balanced meals, and they make sure he has his protein. The food has been very good, and they bring yogurt, fruits, or celery with peanut butter in between meals. They have a nice outdoor area if they want to go out in the patio.

The care they gave my mother was with out compromise. They went the extra mile everytime. My mom had the greatest gift of being able to get the best care in her final days
