My husband was there for nearly two months and the care was terrible. Long wait time for call lights to be answered. Loud screaming patients close by that kept everyone awake all night and refusal to move to a quieter room. Lousy food. The care bordered on negligence

I didn't smell urine at Bixby Knolls Tower. They have activities all the time and the food is great. I have no complaints at all. The price is high, but they have a lot more amenities and a lot more activities than other facilities. They have three people occupying one room. It's a nice facility and the staff is excellent. They take care of the residents hair and nails, and they take care of their clothing. Their activities were really lively. They usually have the nurses bring the residents downstairs to engage in activities like singing or dancing in their chair, as well as play Bingo. It's nice and clean. They just have slow elevators, but that's because of patients getting on with wheelchairs. They have two sets of elevators at that place.

The whole Bixby Knolls facility is great. We’re very happy that my mom is there and she is very happy, too. The staff is wonderful and friendly. The doctor comes in regularly and checks on her. My mom shares a room with another lady. It looks like a hospital but they have their own closet. The residents decorate their own rooms. They had little crafts and other activities that they can do. They play bingo and they have kids that come in and dance. They have special little dining rooms that they can go to and have their meals at or they can go downstairs in the big dining room or they can have their food delivered to them.

My mom is in Bixby Knolls Towers. It is very clean. It looks more like a hospital setting. I think it can use a more homey look. However, she enjoys the food there. I am satisfied. She is in a shared three-bedroom apartment. They have a separate dining room area. They have activities like bingo, entertainment, and movies. What really impresses me the most is the staff. They are very helpful, and they try to make sure that she is involved.
