My mom moved into Green Acres Manor and it has been wonderful. The facility and its grounds are beautiful and very nice. It's very much feels like being at home feeling and the security is great. The staff is very caring and friendly. The food is great and they use fresh vegetables out of their own garden. The residents get to actually go out there and pick the vegetables, then they help select which ones they're having for dinner. It's a very small facility so everything is made right there.

I'm currently a resident of Green Acres Manor. It is very good. We have music twice a week and some physical activity once a week. There is sort of a library, but there is no chapel or pool. The food is good. The building is beautiful. It's very nice.

My mother-in-law stays in this facility. We opted for this because it seems well run. There are grounds where residents could take a walk and there are sitting areas as well. She stays in a very nice accommodation. She shares a bath with a room mate but it doesn't matter because she needs assistance with her bathing. In addition, we are satisfied with the caregivers. They make sure that she's always clean. Her room is always clean too. There are activities and entertainment this place organize for their residents; however, my mother in law can't do them, she's totally out if it.

While searching for a place for our aunt to live, we decided to take a look at Green Acres Manor, since it was conveniently located. Our aunt - and some family members have lived in the region all of their lives. We were really impressed with how well the grounds were kept and how nice and accommodating the staff were. The communal areas all seemed to have a nice level of energy and participation. We could see that our aunt would get along well here. They are a full-service assisted living facility - with regular meals, snacks, housekeeping, nursing care with a wellness care program, and personal care, if necessary. The residents are regularly encouraged to participate in a variety of activities, from exercise classes, to things such as creating artwork, play group games and sign up to take trips into the city for all kinds of fun outings. The food looked really nicely prepared - with options and choices for many tastes and dietary concerns. The dining room, activity rooms and lounges were all nicely decorated. We saw residents playing games, watching television and reading, while some were in the media room watching a movie. Based upon what we saw, we recommend visiting Green Acres as an option for your loved one.
