I chose Woodridge Place for my husband because it is clean, small and compact. It is not chaotic like the other large facility where he was at. It is a residential care facility for six people, so it is very homey. Because it is small, he doesn't have to walk very far to go from one place to another. The meals they have for their residents are very good. They are all home-cooked meals. It smells good when you walk in and it is very nice. Their staff is very caring. Their activities are very limited though this is mainly because most of the residents are not participating. My husband for example does not participate as much. They have a piano there that he will play with occasionally. They have puzzles and games in the table but they are not participating. Otherwise, it is a safe and caring place. It is the right place for my husband and I'm very happy he is there.
