Downey Care Center

My dad was at the Downey Care Center before he passed away. It was good. I thought it was nice. I would say that if I needed a place to be, I would like to be there. The room is clean and nice. There are two beds. We share a room. They have their own TV, so that was good. I like the staff. The only thing about the staff was that my dad thought they were a little bit rough with him when they put him in a wheelchair like they were pushing fast. Other than that, I didn't see anything else. They did play bingo or lottery, but I didn't see much activity. But they did have Bible study, which was good.

My grandmother is an 88 yr old Dementia patient at Downey Care Center. The staff are very attentive ,kind-hearted,and compassionate. The facility has ameneties such as a rehabilitation room,a rec room for arts and crafts,and they also offer a garden. My only complaint about the facility is its sometimes faulty maintenance in the public restrooms. My grandmother seems to be enjoying her stay nontheless and I'd happily reccomend it to anyone.
