Woodruff Care Home couldn't be nicer. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. I don't have enough nice things to say about it. It's clean, neat, and I haven't seen anything disparaging at all. I'm very pleased, and I won't have any problems sending anybody to that community at all. The only problem I had was the smoking space. There's a big patio outside where they're allowed to smoke, and unfortunately that's just how it goes. It was pretty smelly, but they've got to do it somewhere. I think overall they provide a wonderful and clean environment, a good staff, and the people there and the manager couldn't have been nicer. There's also a young lady who helped me, her name was Zena, and she was also most accommodating. They made all the preparations to make sure that we'd have a smooth transition. It's a terrific place. In terms of value, I think it's a bargain.

Woodruff Care Home is not the type of community I'm looking for. I don't need that type of care. Overall, the experience was good. The person that gave me the tour was very helpful and very accommodating. However, I'm not interested in sharing a room. Upkeep was fine. I have no problems with it. It's very nice, clean, and the staff was fine. The experience was fine. It's just not the level for me.

Woodruff Care Home looked clean. They were probably better staffed than the other one we visited. Our problem wasn't the facility, but the distance that would be involved with me being there. We decided that it was a little too far away, even though we thought it was good. We liked the fact that the staff seemed very caring. They had some younger people there, who were in wheelchairs and most likely needed that care. I was surprised that was a thing. I liked the rooms. They were bigger than what I expected. The woman who gave us a tour knew everything about the place. Any questions we had, she had the answers to, such as what times the meals were. Also, she was able to answer: if he needed care in the middle of the night, how quickly could we expect a response. The dining area looked open and bright. I actually had asked them about the possibility of my dad being served breakfast, dinner, and maybe lunch to his room. The staff said they have a procedure where they will take the meals into the room, but that they encouraged their residents not to stay in their room. They wanted them to kind of mix at meal time. The surrounding was very open and bright. I really liked the fact that there was a lot of light in the room. People seemed to be happy there. The staff was very knowledgeable, nice, and friendly. I thought she was great. They had everything I expected them to have.

I saw Woodruff Care Home. The eating area seemed to be confined, it just didn't feel very warm to me, and I just didn't have a good vibe. There wasn't anything particularly out of order, I just didn't like it, but it was clean. One of the administrators had her dog there, maybe that's allowed, and maybe it's a dog that may help with the patients, but I didn't feel it was as structured as the other places.

Woodruff Care Home's room was small and had a bed, a dresser that they said you could have a microwave on, and a closet. The staff was very nice to me. The dining room was kind of depressing because they had really deep blue tablecloths and it was so dark, and in a dining area you like to have a little light. The place was very clean, though.

I did not like Woodruff Care Home. It was very dark and didn't seem like there was very much staff for the number of people there. The rooms were a great size, but they weren't upgraded at all. The furniture didn't match. It seemed like they needed a lot of upgrading. The dining room wasn't inviting at all. The staff was able to answer my questions, but the overall feel was very uncomfortable. The parking situation was very difficult also. The rooms were the same size whether they were shared or private.

My visit to Woodruff Care Home was good, but we didn't choose them because the type of residents there are different. The place was clean and well-kept, even though it's older and not as nice as the place we picked. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and professional.
