I toured Gines Residential Care Home. The person who showed me around was complaining that her staff was back in the Philippines so she had to be working. They need to have a true staff helping people. Also, they need to update the location. The fence is falling. The roof was old. Some of the wallpaper came off. It was just bad yet she wants the same price as the others. They have to spend a little money on the facility and on nurses who help their patients.

I toured Gines Residential Care Home for my mother. It's just a house, so it's individual care, and it's not like a group. They even said if she needed more help and supervision at night, that we would have to buy that over and above. They have a resident sleeping there, which is nice, but they're sleeping. They're not up all night like in the other communities. I don't think was a good fit for us because my mom used to wander at night. It was really homey, but I felt like it was kind of dark. It wasn't as bright and sunny as the other ones. The dining area was just a kitchen, but they were helping some of the residents eat, which was nice, and the food looked nice. The staff was very nice and attentive. It was just a little bit dark and there's no activities because it's not a group. They're just basically living in your home. There was a backyard that was nice, but you couldn't really go on any other walk.

We went to Gines Residential Care Home for a tour. We saw a garage door that was open where we could see old stuff like an old stove. It did not look very good. It’s also a much older house. The lady that was there was very nice and showed us a room that was huge. They have five or six people already there. She also gave us the best advice and took time to talk to us.

The neighborhood is nice, but the inside and atmosphere look like something out of the Adams family. Ghoulish. Present residents comprise hospice and a schizo. I wouldn't put a pet parakeet there.
