"We visited Eagle Crest Senior Living Community while in the region looking at facilities for our uncle. The outside looked well kept. The grounds were nicely landscaped, with beautiful walkways and seating areas. This facility can accommodate a variety of ambulation levels and as a resident's needs change, care can be shifted. There were rooms for a variety of interesting activities like reading, games, discussions and crafting. The fitness center included everything the seniors need to get a good workout, at the level that best suits them. Staff was always available to help with equipment and they offered classes each day as well. The private living units were generously and beautifully designed; efficient with lots of fresh air and natural light. The dining room had plenty of space. The meals looked and smelled appetizing. The menus had many nice food options. The healthy snacks are provided regularly and whenever requested. The outside activities offered many interesting cultural events in the region and hosted art, music and other gatherings regularly. This living environment for seniors includes everything that the residents need. The staff was also helpful, caring and kind. "

"My mother was at Laurel Manor. We chose this because they were very accommodating and cheap. It smelled good. I was impressed with them. People were active and it made me happy to see it. Those were my first impressions. The dining room was open to all the people that live there and the food was homemade. My mother had her own private apartment. She had her own bathroom, little living space and bedroom set. They had coffee and a lot of games every afternoon. They had things she enjoyed. "

"My mom is going to be at Springbrook Assisted living. We chose this facility because it's close to me and her sister already lives there. The facility is only five years old and it's a very nice place. When we talked to the director just the other day, she said it could be the middle of this month or could be the end of the month wherein my mom could move in. They have bingo and they play cards. They also have entertainment and they also bring pets in for the residents. They do bus trips to Wal-Mart once a month. They have a theatre there for the residents to watch movies. They also have an exercise room and a swimming pool. My aunt is at the third floor and she has great view. She has lots of room with a big living room, bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchenette. It's just very, very nice. The staff are really nice too. "

"My aunt lived at Eagle Crest South. She passed within the last six months, but I was there, and I got to see what they have, and I got to see her room. The facility was also very beautiful and well-managed. When I was there the first time, it was still during COVID, and they followed very strict COVID rules, which was appreciated knowing that the elderly were at risk, so I appreciated that they had certain rules for that. I never had a problem like going in to see my aunt or anything. Everybody was always very helpful. The grounds were beautiful. Her room was perfect for her. It was on the third floor. She had her door decorated on the outside, so it was cute. She enjoyed it. She liked the community feel of it, and that's something she thrived for, and she was a social butterfly, so it was great for her. It was very clean. The people were very friendly. Beautiful grounds. They had a beautiful overlook of the river on the other side. The only thing I didn't love about that location is that it's right next to the hospital, which is great, but the hospital also has a helicopter, and the helicopter is quite loud. They have a courtyard. A lot of the rooms had balconies for the tenants. My aunt had a balcony room, so she could sit outside on our balcony and have coffee or whatever in the morning. They are along the river, so they have like a little trail behind where the Eagle Crest faces that you can walk and be along the river. Then they have a dock where the tenants can go down to and enjoy the river from the dock or go fishing and that kind of stuff down there, which is kind of cool. "

"We were looking for a nursing home that could provide the therapy that our mom needed after a major stroke and chose Bethany Riverside. When mom arrived at Bethany Riverside, she needed assistance with nearly everything. The facility was clean and the staff were kind and compassionate. They worked together as a team and encouraged mom to take one day at a time. They managed her complex medical problems, understood her limitations, and encouraged her to keep working toward her goals. The therapy department was outstanding! Mom participated in therapy 5 days per week during her 52 day stay at Bethany Riverside. She was discharged to her home and is back to her baseline and enjoying life. I would recommend this nursing home for those looking for an excellent therapy department for a loved one. "

"The staff at The Willows is very friendly, nice, and warm. It is neat and clean. It's connected to the rehab center and the nursing home, so if you want to go for a walk, you can take a long walk, visit with people, and go into the activity rooms in either section. My father started out in a two-bedroom because they didn't have a one-bedroom open, but now he is in a one-bedroom. It's very cozy, more homey, and he likes it better than the larger one. They have yoga, shopping trips, they go out to lunch or breakfast sometimes, games, bingo, and movie night, and they have musicians come in. When I went there, they had somebody right in the office when you walk in. They had the cleaning people, the maintenance guy, and residents walking around. The price was much more reasonable. You get a little more personal touch there in such a big place. My father just liked The Willow better. I left the decision up to him, and he picked them. He loved the food, and he said he felt nicer when he walked in the front door. "

"The staff were nice, the facility was very well staffed, and they seemed like they were doing a great job helping out and taking care of the citizens. The amenities of the center seemed pretty adequate and enjoyable to the residents. However, the rooms were not great, and quality of the center itself wasn't too appealing. The rooms were bland and generic, almost like low-rate hospital rooms and the recreation areas were really generic. Also, the environment around the facility was plain and boring and not appealing. Scenery for the residents was not calming or relaxing. Although it wasn't a great place, this was a good place for my grandmother to stay. "

"We visited Hillview Terrace, and the rooms were pretty much what I expected. The staff were helpful. The place was pretty basic, and the dining facilities looked fine. They had outings once or twice a week. "

"Shelby Terrace Assisted Living is a very convenient location for my mom. I would say it's well-appointed with nice accommodation. It's also friendly. I saw the dining area and I saw a sample of what the menu would be. It's limited because it's two meals a day instead of three, but they offer the option for more if you want to pay for it. It all seemed quite reasonable. It was somewhat dated, but it's adequate."

"My father-in-law stayed at Sugar Loaf Senior Living for nine days. It was very good and wonderful. He liked the food. "

"I like Roger Metz Manor, and I think it's a nicer place than others I have visited. I also like that they have single rooms available. The community is right on a park, it's clean, and its got a great view. The person who gave me the tour was fine, and was the same person who accommodated me for their sister community."

"My visit to Adith Miller Manor was good. The place seemed well-maintained and good aesthetic-wise. The staff accommodated us fine and there were no issues. They have full services and amenities, they have individual rooms, a reading area, and lounge area, and everything you could want. They also prepare all your meals. The only thing I found is that they only have shared rooms."
